Tankers!

Tomorrow, instead of the regular server restart at 02:00 UTC, we’ll be having a scheduled server downtime between 04:00 and 04:30 UTC for the purposes of maintenance and feature implementation.

The release will include a series of minor system fixes, as well as a cool little feature for the battle HUD. With this new feature, whenever a player destroys another player, the HUD will show an icon representing the turret that has dealt the killing blow.

For example:

We apologize for the inconvenience, and thank you for your patience and support. Don’t forget to check out the new HUD feature tomorrow!

Do any of these "fixes" involve lag?

Over past week many battles have become almost unplayable. Driving off roads in Monte-Carlo more times than enemy kills me is a little... embarrassing.

What about you fix server lags instead of adding useless minor features?

We are working on it. It just happens that such a problem isn't solved overnight. There's a lot more work involved in it than you can imagine. And if we had to stop all development to just focus on that problem, the game would stagnate.

I wonder if all the extra data (showing damage-dealt counts) is contributing to the lag issue.

To some extent, yes, but servers were terrible even before the update (which was terrible as well).

This way, instead of stagnating, you are making the game worse, while the lag issue is still there.. How good is that
