Standalone Flash Player High Memory Usage!

 Share

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I use Standalone Flash Player to play Tanki but from some days I found that Standalone flash player eating around 800 mb of my ram which is high as it results in low fps even tho If I turn off all graphics I have to play with 12 FPS. My PC is capable of playing at 60 FPS with full graphics except deep shadows.

So I have cleared my cache but nothing happened. Please help!

It is possible that there's memory leaking, you can try this method to see if it can solve your problem:

Press window key + R, then type regedit and open it.

Look for  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\Ndu

Find 'Start', right click on it and select modify. In the window that opens, change the value to 4.
Then restart your pc.

Or if you are using a laptop, then plug it to AC and you should have fine graphics again. If you a have a program such has CCleaner, please run it.

Try performing clean boot to free up memory

1. Go to RUN and type msconfig

2. Choose selective startup and uncheck Load startup items

3. Go to tab 'services'

4. Click on Hide all Microsoft services

5. Click on disable all

6. Click Apply, OK and restart computer

It really helped me, also makes pc load faster, makes viruses 'frozen'
