Unfortunately not all the decisions we make can be popular. But I'm happy to see this V-LOG has made a lot of people happy  :)

50% is only on turrets.

Dear young sir you need to be corrected on your own topic .. it states in v-log 112 as shown below.. the voice it does only announce the turrets but it shows both in the picture

I think the ranks update is nice. And I think it's good that players who will automatically be 'Legend' will get some crystals when the update is introduced. But I don't think it is fair that players with different levels of 'Legend' will get the same amount of crystals.

 

Example:

If I have 2 siblings who both play Tanki (a lot), and the older one started before the younger, so has around 2.8 million exp, and the younger one has 1.6 million. I guess that makes the older one 'Legend 7', and the younger one just 'Legend'. Yet when the new rank is introduced, they will both get 40k crystals.

 

You said that one of the points of the update is for generalissimos to compare what level they are. Well, when my younger sibling ranks up to 'Legend 7', they will have recieved 280k compared to my older sibling recieving 40k now for being 'Legend 7'. So my younger sibling will be 240k better off crystal-wise at 'Legend 7', than the older sibling. So they can improve their garage more, get more supplies, whatever, and so be 'better' at the 'Legend 7' rank than my older sibling was.

 

When the older sibling bought their m3s, they had to buy the previous modifications (m0, m1 and m2) to get the m3s. And then the update was introduced so that you could buy the m3 without buying the other modifications, so my younger sibling got to buy their m3s at essentially half the price of what my older sibling paid. Not to mention the fact that my younger sibling also benefitted from having the garage discount when you own a certain amount of hulls/turrets, and also having daily missions, and the daily mission chains, to give them extra crystals for a greater percentage of the time they've been on Tanki compared to my older sibling.

 

They both play similarly, and make similar garage choices, and yet the younger one already has a garage much much better than the older one did at the same rank. So recently-joined players are getting an advantage over players who joined slightly less recently.

 

Even if you don't want to give players with higher 'Legend' levels the full amount of crystals (ie 40k x the 'Legend' number), at least you could give them more than what you're giving players with lower 'Legend' levels. To make it more fair.

Legend Rank with continous numbers = very nice and usefull idea.

 

 

Please incorporate a few more steps into the rank selector at battle creation (like legend 3 = 2Mio XP; legend 8 = 3 mio XP).

I guess some high ranked players would like that.

 

 

 

 

Fire and Freeze mechanics.... oh this was just a very, very minor information...

I mean.. honestly.. you took more then a year to fix freeze again.. and now you tell us it is only half operational?

This hiding behind hulls and dealing damage through them was THE thing that made light hulls usefull for Freeze and Fire.

 

Find your teammate in trouble, move behind him and help him.

Attack two enemies, get the slow one infront of you and slowdown + damage both

 

Are you trying to make room for an M3 alternation or do you simply want to reduce the number of crystals that are gained in a battle?

agreed, I am rather disappointed, being a Freeze user, I won't be able to spray enemies grouped together with ease.. especially when there is a long hull like Dictator directly in front

 

however, that brings us a new mini-tactic - when a Freeze or Firebird approaches, go perpendicular to its stream and reduce the possibility of splash damage...  :unsure:

When you go to the garage, the hulls still show 31% off. It would've been misleading if we showed you 50% and only gave you 31%. Please, let's stop trying to make an issue out of things. The message was very clear. I quote again:

you're mistaken. the dates on which there was a hull sale are faded out a bit, the turret sale dates are highlighted.. it is understood that the change from 31% to 50% is for turrets only

 

and it is clearly said in the same frame that it is for turrets only

The new ranks are nice, but IMO it would be cooler if the name would be more special rather than Legend 1, Legend 2, Legend 3 etc. And it would be great if all the people with millions of XP would get the respective amount of crystals and not only one 40k reward. But I'm not surprised if they don't change it, but this isn't too bad :) But still nothing about MoP, I'm really looking forward to it. :)

If you watch the whole part where they tell about the change in the sales, you would realise it's only on turrets. Like Cedric told you a couple of times, you're wrong. Your screenshot in the last page isn't clear.

Well, can't wait for the special Halloween map, golds, new rank, and basically everything mentioned, everything's awesome, except one thing: Why'd you have to change discount at such short notice? :( I would've bought a turret xD Meh, I sorta needed another M3 hull anyways.

As said in the V-LOG, there'll be an infinite amount of Legend ranks, each receiving a reward of 40 000 crystals per rank. However, if you are scheduled to be a Legend 3 after the update roles out, you won't get 120 000 crystals (40K x 3), just 40 000.

Not sure I understand your question. There won't be a limit to Legend ranks. As long as people keep ranking up, the number behind the Legend rank will keep growing. But if you're asking me about the first time you become Legend, the reward is 40 000 crystals, even if you've jumped from Generalissimo directly to Legend 27 (or whatever number)
