how to get cry but not a lot of xp

Hey guys so I have a problem. I have a rank that is too high for the amount of crystals in my account.  So I am playing against people who high very good equipment while I am playing with m0s maybe an m1 here or there.  Now I want to get m1 hornet, viking, and maybe if I get the chance m2 isida, but I don't have the crystals to do it.  Most of you are thinking that I should just by crystals but I don't have the money so that is not an option.I have figured out the problem, it is that I will start battles but then i am forced to leave before they are done so that I can get work done or because my parents want me to get off the computer.  So my question is there a good way to get lots of crystals while not ranking up without money.  Also please don't mention the polygon map trick because I am already so out matched in terms of the damage that I take, that I get killed even while in the hole before I can get the cry from capturing/defending the point.

go through the struggles and save up for a m2 kit, you can ask my friend Snuggles_Awesome, he was once just like you, I told him to save up for a good kit like Northerner, and now he's busy pwning a bunch of unfortunate players

My solution might seem counter intuitive but it works (Proof is my above-average quality garage :p); just don't play. Since, whenever you play, you will earn exp no matter what. So, how to earn crystals then? Get acquainted with the forum. Take part in Newspaper Contests, Tanki Thinking Challenge and Community Events organised every few days. You're bound to earn a lot of crystals in the long run. Yeah, this method might seem boring or too long but it pays off. You can make an alt and play on that temporarily till you acquire crystals on your main.

Taking part in contests is an excellent way; and as @beaku put it: don't play, but get acquainted with the forum. However, if you want to play in battles still, do missions then log off; and try to kill two birds with one stone ( e.g. "Earn experience on Kungur" and "Earn experience in CP" can be done the same battle).

Precisely. Also, start an alt and continue a playing journey on it with good buying decisions and entering contests like TTC. :P

Also complete mission chains to week 4 and keep going. The drugs and crystals really start to add up over time.

Rank up to 1st lt, not spending a crystal along your way.

 

Make an alt, referral of your main. Rank up on that alt and earn crystals for your main.

 

Yeah, contests might not be everyone's style, but if you need crystals go for it

 

However, rank up slooowly and only rank fast when you have 200,000 crystals. The money you desperately need for Firewall -- an OP kit.

 

Do your missions and get out of your account until you've got 200,000

Just do missions and log out. The way I use my alt which has a pro garage.

just login, check your daily missiosn and use the single free mission change to deal away an XP based mission that gives you drugs.

If you are lucky you receives some mission that gives you crystals.

Then complete all the missiosn that give you crystals. Don't do XP based missiosn for drugs at all - they don't pay off. But complete the box-collectors missions for Drugs, to free up the mission slots.

If you go for a box collector mission go on a server with lower ranks, get into a large map with few players and collect what you need. Prefferable a DM, so you don't mult your team. Do not kill anyone.

If it has to be a team battle, then collect drops in your enemys base; or get just a few drops and leave again to continue in another battle - this keeps the mult-effect for your team as low as possible.

 

If you like to play, play only battles that you can win. Spend time to select one, instead of deciding fast and loosing hard. Learn to read the scores of the players that are displayed in the battle statistic in the lobby - it will tell you who drugs and who doesn't. Learn the usual moment and the looks of takeovers in those statistics, so that you don't join the leading team and still loose hard.

 

If you are in a battle where you scored about 70..100 points, stay for your fund. If drugger join in and doom your team, spawnkilling all of you, and refuse to cap the last flag -> then just go on pause and wait for them to become bored and the battle timer runs out.

 

If you like to play more then that, start another account, spend your crystals wise (only 1 hull, only 1 turret, only 1 microupgrade per equipment, save for kits and plan your equipment ahead) and you are fine off.

Just play enough to complete your crystal missions and be done for the day. I've done this for a while and it works well when you need a lot of crystals without getting much XP.

Premium account. 50% increase on xp but 100% increase on crystals. You'll be making both much faster but will be gaining more crystals than xp. Play on hour long battles and try to get over 1,000 xp and be as close to the top as possible. I got over 2k crystals from one battle on halloween the other night

As many,have said on here - do your daily missions. Complete those you can, and if there is a mission you don't like, just change it for free, or if you already changed it, wait for the nightly server reboot and you can change it afterwards. In CTF always go after the flag. You will get destroyed a lot, but you still get points depending how far you brought the flag. If you die and your teammate caps it, you still get points.

 

Also, you might need to get a high DPS combo to be competitive - Predator and Firefly come to mind.

 

Bottomline, whatever game mode you play get as many kills as you can. D/L stats have no bearing on your overall success/failure.

Unless he get a rare mission (ive only had it 3 times) which gives premium as reward.
