The question at the end, I know the answer to, but I won't say it, but the player would be getting 1,640,000 crystals as a reward, ye after they implement the update he's only getting 40,000 because they dont want to give away so many free crystals? What does it matter? He WORKED for those crystals! Even though he thought he wouldn't be ranking up again he's near 10 million point and to only get 40,000 is INSANE! That's not right. Nor is it for all other players who would instantly be a high number of Legend.

 

Guess no player should get the reward until they reach his rank of Legend!

 

I'm seriously thinking these guys just think of themselves! If I were him i would be PISSED! To be such a high rank of Legend to only get 40,000k for all my hard work! Seriously Tanki! First the lame update now you're ruining this new rank update for high xp generalissimos!

 

I'm saying it now, if they keep up with these terrible updates, they're going to lose more and more players.

 

For you generalissimos with millions of xp, how do you feel being duped out of so many crystals?

They had been playing all that time, without any hope of crystal rewards. Now that they have 40k, they can be grateful that they at least have something, unlike before. Now they also have some rewards for earning the xp, which they previously did not have. I do agree that it is not completely fair, but that's life.

It isnt too much. 1.6 mill is NOT too much. the player EARNED them. it is NOT to much in any way, shape or form! AND if i were to be Legend 10 after the update I would want me other 360,000 crystals. OF course I would want more if i'm getting way less than I should!

Please stop this. I hope you know how greedy is tanki, they rarely give something so "Big" away, so 40k for 200k exp is really much. It's like reaching gissimo and getting 40k. All i can say, if you want to ruin economics (Which are now slowly starting to recover, because Cedric makes good things in my view), then go on - Start crying that you dont get enough. Better 40k which can be earned multiple times, than a simple rank icon. Don't take this personaly, but you should feel ashamed because of this. Tanki gives crystals as bonuses to gissimo's, but you dont appreciate and suck for more.

i understand your point, but let's be realistic - tanki WON'T give away 100k or even more.. as millions.. + It actualy makes the game more interesting - You get that little dose of crystals, so you want more - you -play and rank = more crystals

There is a difference about "what you want" and "what you need" and "what you get"

Not always what you want is what you get.

Lets say - i want full m4 garage with thousands of supplies, but i get m3's for now, am i sad that i didnt get the maximum? Nope, im happy for what i get, because it encourages me to keep on playing to get more. Same with crystals - if they would get them - they would be pretty much bored, since they can buy everything and it isnt much fun..

There IS a difference you are correct.

 

Do I want 1,600,000 crystals? Heck yeah! Do I need them? No, I really don't. Should I get them? If I'm that player yes I should be getting them. Because I EARNED and DESERVE them.

Well 1.6 mil is only enough to get a few M4s, not really a "full M4 garage, with thousands of supplies", but point understood.

It would actually really help those free players who might still have m1's so it will hel them get back in the game if they have say 12 million xp maybe...but buy then they should have mostly m3

I am kinda 50/50 on this.  Personally I don't think anyone should be complaining that they "only" got 40k crystals, as Tanki could've given none at all like it was before.  

 

However, I do agree that Tanki should give more crystals to Generalissimos with more xp. I just don't think that you should complain if they don't.

The thing is, it would only make sense to get disappointed about the lack of rewards from the update if advancing through the Legend series of ranks would unlock more equipment upgrades to spend crystals on. But since that's not the case and a Legend-9001 player would still be at a same level as a Generalissimo, the compensation for not getting all the previous rewards isn't really necessary.

 

"Legend" is mainly a symbol of status and a way for players to better compare progress and experience between one another. The fact that it's also another source of crystals is a secondary feature and is just a nice gesture from developers. Think of it this way: you've been playing the game for your own enjoyment and simply getting experience, but now instead of just seeing the EXP go up, you also get crystals for it!

 

And you don't lose anything at all, because if you and your friend were Generalissimos with 1 600 000 points three years ago and you waited instead of playing because you somehow knew that this update would happen, but your friend continued playing, you wouldn't benefit from it as you would simply become a tier-I Legend with 40 000 extra crystals, while your friend would be a higher level Legend also with 40 000 crystals from the update, but also a much better garage and years of fun in the game behind him.

P.S.  I actually had to change my whole post halfway through typing it because at the beginning I agreed with OP. But then I kinda realised that not giving players all the rewards from the experience doesn't put them in any disadvantage. So I don't blame OP for thinking this way - it's easy to mistakenly assume this from your first impression of the news.

One more thing Generalissimos can thank developers for is the fact that they announced the update quite early. That way if you are a Generalissimo and just coming up to another EXP value that will soon be a mark for one of the new Legend ranks, it makes sense to wait for the update so that you can get 40k from the update and get 40k more from ranking up straight afterwards.

Think of this. People who have 10 Million+ Score probably ​​already have whatever they wanted to spend crystals on, and whatever more they get would immediately go into their stockpile of drugs, which they already never run out of. People who would get Hundreds of Thousands of crystals who are only getting 40,000, Do not need hundreds of thousands of crystals. They might think "Well it would be fair and nice if I would have got hundreds of thousands of crystals for free" But they really don't need it, Don't make a case that they will want to get every M3 Trio Module 50/50.
