What happened to Silence?

Any ideas why Silence lost all its appeal?  It's actually difficult to find a battle in Silence when the servers used to be primarily Silence battles.... :blink:

I think the biggest disadvantage is the unbalance of the team bases.

I remember when all the hard-core pros used to only play on Silence 2 and Silence 1 was for the noobs back when they rank-based the maps. Was thinking about Silence the other day...good coincidence :)

I certainly find 1 or 2 Silence battles on EN2 after 9:00 UTC.. Before that, It's a bit hard. Love that map <3 It`s great for my rail viking :)

I miss old Silence and Crystal boxes and when Hammer first came out (trolling with one shot flip).

That is one very popular map that I do not understand the appeal of.  To me it is very unbalanced and boring as most of the game you're just camping in your base playing defense or falling into the enemy base, grabbing the flag, getting frozen and killed.

It is a lot like Polygon in the sense that it is a great XP farm. Druggers in that place become titans(not the hull, i mean literally), and with the new updates, there are more and more of them

I used to use pakour to get the flag, used wasp and rico and went up to the blue base xD

The new Silence map was just reworded too much, now the map just feels too complicated and "busy" than it used to. Compare the two, old ones were simple and pain but fun. The new one involves way too much camping. 

 

Crystals boxes could have also played a factor.

It lost its popularity. Other maps such as Sandbox, Zone and Polygon took over.
