[Declined] Crosshairs appear when you hit an enemy?

Recommended Posts

I thought of something simple, nothing major, but you know how when you shoot somebody in Call of DUty you get diagonal crosshairs that appear and disappear? What if this game had that? Just little crosshairs that appear when you hit an enemy tank and they go away after two seconds at most. Then those crosshairs could be used as a guid to keep yourself on aim instead of guessing and improving accuracy?

I do this in COD BO ll.

I did the Odysseus mission which takes place on a carrier ship and I use the M60 in all missions since it's so op. Anyway, I find making hip fire shots easier than ADS. (aiming down sights) I'll simply shoot one guy, then move the crosshairs over the next and just go like that.

^ what he said.

In COD, hitmarkers appear when hitting enemies because flinching/blood from your opponents may not be easily visible in combat. They give instant feedback on whether you've hit an enemy or not, which is important given COD's very fast kill times and slim margin for error.

In Tanki, things are slow and methodical enough that it's easy to tell whether or not you hit an opponent, especially on weapons with impact noises (most of them, especially Ricochet), high auto aim (Vulcan, Ricochet), or highly visible effects (most turrets, actually). In the unlikely event that you don't notice these, the damage counters serve practically the same purpose as hitmarkers, appearing after any damage you deal and letting you know if you're hitting or not.

Nah, it would spoil the fun.

You really don't need it for Firebird, Freeze, Isida. And yeah, there's something called auto-aim.

PS: It would be nice that we stop comparing Tanki Online to other games.

Points made above are completely true. Having this kind of crosshairs simply isn't necessary in Tanki due to the nature of gameplay and aiming mechanics. You already get a notification when you damage an enemy in the form of damage indicators.
