I love my job!

It seems like there is a bit of misunderstanding regarding this "clan" system. Specifically that part about creating clan for real money. Let's clear few things out, shell we?

Creating an in-game clan will be a paid option. Creating an in-game clan in any free to play game is a paid option. But joining clan and sharing it's bonuses is free for anybody, as long as clan leader agrees.

I should put more emphasis on "in-game" clan, actually. I won't even call them "Clans" in game, so it will be easier to get the point. Current clans and CS system will stay the way they are. Clans in game will most likely be called "Armies" and will not be involved in current CS activities as this is two different systems. You can create your clans, manage them, play tournaments as usual.

See where am I going with this? This "clans" mentioned in V-LOG is in-game convenience, hence paid option. Nobody will force any current clan leader to pay anything in order to keep his clans going. You can skip in-game clans and play CS as you always do.

The matchmaking thing... will it be part of the paid option too??

What's wrong with normal crystals? Besides a few $ less in TOs bank account... but I guess you'll feel that decline in the long term...

Thanks for taking the time to explain this to us...but what with this?   That's simply not true. I know many F2P games in which creating an in-game clan doesn't take real money

However, it's good that we will be able to keep forum clans and fight in tournaments without paying money. Thanks!

That depends on which part of it you are interested in.

aha, care to explain more? So far all we know is that it is like DM tourneys, but with clans instead of DM... is this correct? and is there more of this...? If you want to assure us that the reason for money and not crystals isn't pure greed, please go ahead ...GL .-.

Yes, but it is a paid option with in-game currency in all other in-game clan systems I have seen. Not real money.

CS system?

If they aren't actual clans, whats the point? People wanted it to be more of a usable system than a social system.

What about the bonus crystals? What about the special clan battles? What about creating PRO battles? What about supplies coming from your clan? The system, as it has been presented so far, is FAR from a simple "in-game convenience". The removal of creating PRO battles for normal Tankers in actually an inconvenience. As DragonOfStorms said: "Don't make us pay for something we already have"

If you make an announcement and have to clear up the whole thing after more than half the posts in the vlog topic are complaining about it, something needs to be changed.

I play WoT Blitz and you don't need real money for that, but World of Tanks you do. I see your point. But World of Tanks doesn't have anything like supplies.  You should get enough profit from that.

That is a large improvement. I'd still rather be able to use this system by paying crystals, but OK.

I follow this "tanki going downhill" thing since Premium Account was introduced. Oh boy I remember comments back then. Everybody were crazy about game going to be ruined.

Doesn't seems like anybody really upset about PA this days. As nobody upset about paints and gold boxes and... uhh... everything extra we can come up with in the shop.

Selling extra stuff in the shop doesn't hurt the game. But it does helps it keep going. Hate me all you want, but as long as I keep a solid line between selling exclusive power and selling extra stuff, I consider I am doing a decent job.

It's like falling from a 8 floor building, 7th floor all is ok, 6th floor same, why panic?, 5, 4, 3, 2 and then 1 all the same.... until the ground floor.

Ye, I thought the 'tanki going downhill' thing was an exaggeration by players back then. But hey, when you have an eSports admin who's inactive and no one cares, how can you blame me? Guess the only way to get proper eSports is by learning Russian  The thing is golds help others, paints are solely for looks, and same with PAs. I am expecting some premium currency tho, but seems everything is turning to money it's... expected.

What happened to being able to gain everything with crystals if you worked hard enough? :( Ah well, business I guess. Wish it could go back to the old TO, but ehh..

Being able to get supplies tho? Winning a ton more of crystals by winning battles? You consider them 'extra stuff'?

What about all the players who were looking forward to this update that the devs disappointed?  It's going to be so much easier and more rewarding to organize a clan in-game, and so many were looking forward to this update.  You basically took their excitement and chucked it out the window...

Basically this was a common idea... and you just destroyed it.  Now there's no hope of the idea in it's original form being implemented. Do you understand why people are so frustrated and disappointed?\

Funny that the two examples you chose are the ones people like the most and that don't give a definite in-game advantage.

"can not create pro battles"

I suggest

-> the supreme commander

-> and his officers

-> should have the ability to create battles; the normal recruits and soldiers can maybe live without it.

In a clan there are usually more then 1 leader and sometimes dedicated trainers. All those need to have the ability to create battles (for training obviously) and therefore they need this ability. So please give the battle creation ability to these clan members.

ps:

make wasp more agile pls, more turning acceleration would be great.. today it drives like an old dog that you have to kick to make a narrow turn.

Sure I am. It should be told from the beginning that original idea wasn't free of charge either.

But that doesn't mean that there won't be any way to create a clan without paying. There are always ways.

Of course.  But how good are those ways compared to in-game clans?  BTW How much does it cost?

btw, could you pls tell us

  • how much the creation of a clan will cost (1 EUR, 5 EUR ?)
  • if the name and tag can be changed afterwards
  • if the clan leadership can be handed over to someone else for free
(leaderships change and the most gifted next-leader is not necessarily a buyer..)
  • If any other features of the clan thing will cost money, except the creation (as far as you know by now)?

You have to pay to create a clan in-game? Are you flippin kidding me??????? Wake up developers. The clan system WOULD be great for growing the popularity of the game, especially looking at games like clash of clans, and really any other game with clans. However, it will not do a THING in this regard. I can only see current clans making in-game clans, because people are not going to risk buying a clan and then it failing because they can't recruit members. Especially in the way you are releasing the update (3 parts), having a clan for the first update will barely mean a thing. Furthermore, I am sure there will be alot of clans not transferring in-game. The update forces current clan leaders to buy a clan in order to stay in leadership, and I know I am not the only leader that is most likely not going to make one.

A few months ago, I was doubtful that y'all were putting in updates for money. Now, after the past couple of updates, I am sure of it. Buyers (once the whole system is implemented) will now be able to have 2x battle funds always, have extra crystals and supplies from their clan, can buy ANY kit at ANY time (including exclusive privileges to supply kits), AND, like always, can purchase OP equipment, in the form of MUs and heavy drugging. No wonder servers are empty after 6 pm in the United States- these updates are making the game lose its appeal.

lol never seen someone's alt like its main account's post :P

It would be really awesome

- if the normal clan creation would cost something like 200.000 crystals or some money (one time fee) and comes without the included pro pass

- And then you have a premium-clan, that costs real money for the creation, and this one comes with the included pro pass
