Which is why the rewards are so tiny, since there's what? 24 people in full matches on bigger maps? That's a LOT even with such tiny friggin funds coming from them, but will help lower rank players a lot. The beginner's pass doubles crystal rewards for a month and I played a LOT during that time and I was able to get the Voltage kit at 3rd Lt. I started saving for it from WO2 and it's been in my possession for the last three days and it's a lot better than people say it is and I'm still a rookie with Rail, but I am doing a lot better.

 

The other day, I played a CTF game on Noise with the Tanki MAsters Co-leader Viperspark who is the two star rank (idk what it's called lol) and I came in on the losing team since they had the only open spot. It was an hour long battle and I came in with 25 minutes left and I was facing full M3 Tanks and guess what place I got? 4th :D

 

That got me into their clan! Well, since I'm not a Major yet I'm in the TUF clan which is a mini version of TM, but I will be moves once I hit Major.

 

This may seem irrelevant, but it's because of all the crystals I got. Crystals are not the easiest to earn in this game and with the beginner's pass, I was able to get my M2s and earn my way to becoming a Tanki Master. I'm not a Tanki Master, but I'm pretty damn good. Sometimes I'll put my SMoky M1 on top of my new Dictator M2 and wreck people still. I'm saving for the M2 and I hope I can by the new year's event in which I hope the discounts will be there still so I can mount that atop my Dictator.

 

Either that or I'm saving for the Paladin kit with M3 Viking and M3 Smoky with the Inferno paint.

slight crystal increases would improve balance as non buying players with have more income to buy better stuff so they arent M0 versus M2 in the middle ranks....m1 is hard enough against m2 where things become op

Not fair for Heavy hulls.  Read my earlier posts, all these rewards target a specific group of players, creating unbalance. :)

This is basically bringing crystal boxes back in other words. Easy pickings = Easy crystals = Game balance ruined.

 

However, this can be incorporated into the Newspaper; as like doing certain number of stunts land you some crystals.

They never actually ruined the economy, only battles in some cases. But when they were around I don't remember seeing M0/M1 in Legend battles. Now that they are removed its almost a common thing...

Honestly people just waiting for crystal boxes to drop isnt as bad as mults, at least they shot people. Nobody ever had the problem of running out of crystals and using m1 equipment against m3s since they could just collect the boxes. (btw i believe the rank you are looking for is generalissimo)

which is why the rewards are so minimal. Even though they are small, it'll make players feel better about their abilities.

I know it's just me making a quote but hey, seeing your crystals go up DURING battle, despite how small the reward, should make a majority of the players want to play more to see how much they can make in a battle and with most battles being only 15 minutes, there won't be much made.

 

This idea isn't to just add crystals to our banks, but mostly to encourage players to feel they're skilled and when you feel like you're a good player, you'll want to play more. In my opinion at least.

I was going to get northerner but I got Voltage. Right now I'm saving for Smoky M2, then im going to save for Paladin from there and then Rail M3 after. Trying to limit my garage to two turrets and one or two hulls

Good idea, but one of those hulls has to be hornet/wasp and one of the turrets has to be railgun. ;)

 

The other turret and hull make up your own personal favorite combo.

Personally, I can NOT stand Wasp or Hornet. I'm best with Dictator or Viking. For guns I'm best with Rail and Smoky....still need work on the Rail though, but i've pretty much mastered Smoky. I've mastered Viking...played with it last night with my Rail M2 and I did a bit better than with my Dictator, and got top of the leaderboard.

In XP/BP battles you only flip if you shoot while in mid-air, if you shoot while tipped-up from another person's impact force, or if you drive badly. Wasp is harder to hit.

We don't usually accept ideas for adding new crystal rewards, but this seems like an interesting concept. Although it's too easy to abuse by simply doing all the things you listed in a battle with friends.
