Furthermore, one way this could really be beneficial is you know when to invite a player straightaway. Suppose you are in a war battle and are waiting for someone on your team to come online. You get this notification and invite him immediately.

No. Its not useful, you can occasionally check the friends list to see who is online. Is it really so important that you immediately know which of your friends is online? I think not. Many players (not all) have close friends at Skype, but also totaly unknown people at friends list. And yes it would be annoying getting so many notifications.

 

PS: I've noticed that every third topic in I&S section contains "We can turn on/off this in settings". There's already a lot of stuff in Settings, we don't need a bunch of new options.

Yes and no. It does solve the problem, but often for minor things like this creating a setting that takes up space in the interface isn't the best choice.

well we can have it as a notification in the chat lobby if we're not in the battle

If we are then we'll receive it like an invitation (except it's not an invite notification unless you want to change the ringtone for it)

I kind of find it annoying that I have to keep checking to see who's online. I think that a small notification should pop up whenever a friend come online, just so that like in battle i don't have to go to friends list and see who's online. Just a thought.

I think its very good idea, because then you can see who log in or off.

This idea might not be too useful. But, why not anytime a friend goes online or offline in tanki have a pop up notification, a small window at the top right. Now, in case some people have a lot of friends and this could be annoying to some, so just add an additional settings in the settings noting whether or not to turn on/off this notifications. I would really like to see at least the friends going online notification being implemented in the game in some kind of way. Or another idea is you could choose to show certain friends going online/offline like friends you know in real life or just long time friends in tanki.
