Mults: persistant [vote_counter] counter per account; increased by each /vote

It's a breeze.

For you, perhaps. I'm talking about the devs, who actually program the game.

 

Ask yourself -- how often does the game LAG CRASH and etc?

 

Besides, there is old code that is the foundation of the game -- including statistics. The mods themselves admit that the devs were noob in their early days.

 

Also, what was the last time they even tried a little bit to cure this plague called mults? Never.

it's still easy

  • it lags 1x/5 minutes
    But this update does not effect lag (network based) not FramesPerSecond. It does not have to calculate the whole table 50x per second. This does not require performance
  • The game crashes 1x / 5h of gameplay for me
    Most of the crashes occure, when a new Adobe version comes online.
  • tough statistics
    the prposed system just needs to read existing statistics and create new data from it. Time in battle is already recorded somewhere (it can tell us the time in CTF games already..).
    New statistics are complicated if you are about to count stuff that was never ment to be counted. Not the case here.

Kick2 AND mult counter = eZ

 

Kick2 = working game

 

working game = happy players

 

happy players = them buying

On a final note, Tanki must have a good reason not to change the current supplies system and supplies haters clearly don't matter to them. Same goes for saboteurs: the latter must be profitbale for the company one way or another.

 

So you're saying that tanki devs can't even see they'll have more people paying if they eliminate the (sometimes) paying mults?

Right now the only thing we can do is /vote but that is a very generic complaint and doesn't give moderators much info to understand what is going on.

 

I suggest adding the ability to flag tankers as mults in the battle chat by simply using /mult username

 

This would accomplish several things:

1. moderators would know exactly what the complaint is AND

2. if they keep a running count in the backend, mods could see how frequently that particular tanker is flagged as a mult (to build a case against them being repeat offenders and punishing them).

3. hopefully cut down on mults sabotaging battles.

Persistant counter (linked to account and in effect after log off) like the karma statistic?

 

You are referring to 'mult' as a player being inactive, correct? As oppsed to someone actively sabotaging i.e. Does this imply that people who idle(pause) a lot will be put on red alert?

The ability to specify a reason for voting a player in battle could be extremely helpful for moderators to prioritize the battles in which they spectate; after players type /vote usernameofoffender, there could be a drop down list of infractions such as sabotages, hacking, insults & profanity, etc, or their could be commands such as /votesabotage, /votehack, etc. Battles showing a majority of more serious infractions could show up first in line to moderators, and help them ban the most serious offenders. Any opinions?

So hi guys 

 

I am making this topic in light of a new problem .

 

I was playing on esplanade. 

I had everything i wanted . There was good gameplay , the teams were nice , no mults or insulters ,no people with m0s and basically your nice once-in-a-while battle .

Suddenly , the gold box warning came up on-screen . 

We all were excited , and someone in team chat was asking for an isida . 

as the gold box fell , i came towards it . However due to my nooby skills bad luck , i flipped  my tank .

Nothing new , i sat and watched . My team leader was doing an awesome job with his/her tank .(I remember the nickname had something rhyming with ricochet ). As i saw , a 1st lieutenant with striker and viking barged in and while using 0 supply pushed the dictator . Even though as my teammate started to push him/her away , that guy's tank flew and took the goldbox . There was chaos .I didn't even had a time for a screenshot.  Our leader was hurling some stuff in the chat , and i told everyone to type in /vote command . lol.

Even though there were many people who  had like fully upgraded m2s , they asked " /vote? whats that??"

even when i explained only about 2 typed it in . I was raging . So i decided to make this topic so that the devs can , instead of /vote command , add a button like "Report Hacker" on clicking the profile .

 

Ik , devs , that the /vote is there for a reason , but new players only want gamplay, and fighting . No one there knows about the report commands .

 

Still 

 

Hoping for the best

Every sound idea that attempts to tackle the scourge in this game should be welcomed and appreciated.  This is an idea to utilise the /vote feature to create stats that battle mods can use as tool to facilate the location and removal of undesirables from the game.  We all want the same end result so why are tanki so hell-bent on not fixing the problem?

 

The matchmaking ratio system, by the sound of it, will reduce mults but comes at a cost. You won't be able to play with your friends. What good is that to anyone?

 

Kick2 doesn't have to be implimented as a players moderation system but can also be used as tool in locating mults. The system can be programmed to automatically issue kick votes to players and those names are then highlighted yellow for battle mods to see. If they're also receiving higher amounts of /votes over time too then why not highlight them red.

 

The ideas are there and the only thing missing is the will to code them. It's really not that difficult.

Stubborn devs perhaps?

You will be able to play with friends in the MMS using battle groups, or by joining a pro battle (which will be free).

Was in a Polygon today.

 

Two golds dropped seconds after each other.  Rare opportunity- the players were excited.

 

The SAME hacker took both.  He was so cautious, only in the air for a split second, that most didn't even see it.

 

Bring this back.

No... Someone like me could accidentally report a person instead of of sending a friend request.

Make the command /report, that is known to be used for reporting hackers

Is obviously a hacker. We've all seen him hacking in battle. Nobody gets a 38 k/d using M0s and this little drugs:

In addition, his score per hour is extraordinarily high.   Would be nice if there was a bot for detecting these anomalies and not reporting them, but tagging them so that mods can watch them.

But he won’t be banned because….nevermind that. Every battle he's in 1, 2, or 3 players report him. Not enough for the mod but it sure would add up with this idea in the game.

If half of team, vote for one playes - kick him from game instantly! To prevent misuse, all voters must have more points then voted mult.

 

Example.

In game of 8, on score rank, 6th is mult - if 4 team members(each from 1-5) vote for 6th - he is kicked out from game instantly(with 4th vote agains him)!

 

And you end up with mults without wasting admins time, fast and deadly!
