Smoky is unbalanced

With the nerfing of its damage from a distance it can no longer make long shots effectively. The decrease in damage means it can't be used in close range combat since I can't kill any other short ranged or mid ranged gun without use of double armor or double damage. The critical hit being nerfed so majorly makes it's shots hardly stronger than its already weak shots. Plus over distance the damage goes down and it's best at medium range...but that means the damage is even weaker.

 

Smoky's damage and critical damage need to be raised again as it doesn't amount to other turrets. I have to always drug Double armor and double damage to get kills and I'm a well skilled player!

 

I'll put it simple. The Devs over nerfed Smoky.

Smoky m1 is one of the worst m1s, live with it until m2 and you won't be complaining anymore..

 

Smoky is quite a balanced gun and many high-rankers think it's OP, in fact, even smoky users themselves admit that. It's very versatile and in the hands of the skilled user can destroy any turret with ease.

 

Plus, this topic isn't in the right place. It should be in "Game Discussion", not "Problems and solutions"

Smoky had to be nerfed. It was OP. Smoky could kill any light hull in one shot on DD. Its critical damage was the most annoying thing ever. Smoky has fast reloading. So if you don't like the nerf I suggest you move closer to your enemies, cause stealth is no longer an option without supplies, or just switch to thunder.

Its not. On my other account I had smoky M1 and still have it. @dan146_tanki And I'm pretty sure I know how many shots I did before my enemies died. The thing I said about stealth you must have misunderstood. Stealth isn't an option unless you just want to injure your enemy but not kill them.

IKR!?!?!? M0 and M1 smoky wayy too OP and M2 and M3 need buff!!!!!!?!?!!!!?!!!???

 

The turrets perform differently compared to the other ones, at different modifications. If it is unbalanced in M1, that does not mean it is unbalanced in M0, M2, and M3.

Its not. On my other account I had smoky M1 and still have it. @dan146_tanki And I'm pretty sure I know how many shots I did before my enemies died. 

Smoky M1 damage (no MUs): 22.6 - 28.5  

With DD: 45.2 - 57.0 

 

Wasp M0's health is 65.0, without any MUs, and if you can't even one shot that with DD, you can forget about one shotting M1 Wasp, and don't even think about Hornet and Hunter. (light hulls)

 

Side note: even assuming you somehow MUed completely, having basically M2 Smoky with DD, you still would not be able to one shot M1 Wasp.
