Random Gold-Boxes should drop after the battle ends

This effects only the random golds. The gold supplies are unaffected.

 

In pro-battles there is a goldbox enabled/disabled button today.

I like the button to switch between two behaviours:

 

(1) [DURING BATTLE] (2) [AFTER BATTLE]

(1)....[DURING BATTLE]

  • Goldboxes drop during the battle like they do today


 

(2)....[AFTER BATTLE]

  • Gold-boxes that are generated during the [battle_Phase] are droped after the battle in a [GoldBox_Phase]
  • Everyone can focus on the fight; while at the end everyone can focus on the golds
  • Players that joined in the last moments will not spawn during the [GoldBox_Phase]

Details on the [After Battle] scenario:

 

 

[battle_Phase]

  • During the [battle_Phase] the game mechanic decides (in the same way as today), if a gold-box has to be dropped or not
  • Gold-box are not dropped instantly - instead all of them are now [stored] until the end of the battle.
  • There is no information about the number of stored gold boxes to the players, so that they can continue to fight for their win

 

[GoldBox_Phase]

  • the result statistics are shown for 8 seconds like today.
  • then the tanks tank spawns again
    • if they were in the battle for more then 5 minutes (time has to be aligned)
    • if they scored more then 50 points (min. score has to be aligned).
    • So players that just joined for the gold or Mults will not spawn.
  • After everyone has spawned, then the golds are dropped in fast sequence. This increases the chances for every tanker to get some, instead of having one pro-lagger that gets one after the other
  • Tanks that get killed now will respawn with 2seconds waiting time (instead of 12seconds).
  • Players that enter the battle now, do not spawn at all.
  • After the last gold was collected (timeout eventually if they refuse to collect it) the new round will start, everyone spawns, and fights again

 

 

 

 

Benefits of the [AFTER BATTLE] scenario:

  • No more "was gold?" questions
  • Everyone can focus on the battle, while it's battle time / everyone can focus on the gold while it's gold time.
  • Golds are dropped in fast sequence. This increases the chances for every tanker to get some, instead of having one pro-lagger that gets one after the other
  • Faaaaaaar less disturbance by goldhunters. They have to join in time and they have to work now, if they wanna participate in the gold rain at the end of the battle
  • Again: no more useless gold-campers that hide behind the house in your base, not shooting, in order to be "ready" when the gold comes.
  • No more battles, where you lead, and half of your team leaves after the first goldbox dropped

I doubt this will happen. Many (probably most) players value the "fun and excitement" of Gold boxes over competitive gameplay, so doing this will ruin the experience for such players. But I do like the idea and it seems like it would work better than all the "pause time and disable flags" ideas for preventing Gold boxes interfering with gameplay.

Maybe it would be more wise then, to use the goldbox-switch in the pro battle setup, to switch between the following two variants:

- goldboxes as today

- goldboxes as proposed in this idea

I don't like this. It would mean battles would be extended past when they are supposed to end, so you could not join the battle and know you will be done in 15 minutes. Golds during battles add to the excitement.
