Seeing people with Thunder M3 on the Colonel rank is so fun.

I don't like playing this game, because I can't keep up with people that spend money on it. But seeing people that have a Thunder M3 at the Colonel rank is ridiculous. 2 shotting Hornet M2's w/o drugs, oneshotting with drugs, and ofcourse they use drugs because they have spend money on this game and it only costs €14 to get 1500 supplies, yeah so fun. I have a Brigader account but don't play on it because I don't have any M3's and can't even get one. While 80% of the people do have a M3 wapeon on that rank currently.

I'm a Brigadier too, with no M3s but like seven M2s (and they're pretty awesome). I don't play here often cause I wanna grow a solid alt, but when I wanna play here, I pwn everyone I can :P The Halloween map had a lot of Thunders haunting it, but really the only reason I couldn't play well there is cause of lag.

 

Trust me, if you manage to get a good enuff garage, you can beat everyone even without buying. Check the Midranker's Handbook in the Newspaper and Newspaper Archives, and learn. That series has an enormous amount of tips for midrankers like yourself ;) Also, play versus lower ranks, and try starting an alt, using tips you can gather from forum. 

 

Also, judging from your profile, you've made an enormous amount of mistakes in your career. Don't use Isida unless you prefer support, and better try playing random battles with Hornet/Freeze or Rail, or get skill for XP/BP battles and play 'em till you can gather enuff crystals. Also, if you wanna make a good garage without ranking too fast, complete missions and enter TTCs and other forum contests. I'd recommend you not to buy supplies until and unless you have a good enuff garage, and better focus on a few more M2s (I'd recommend Viking with some other turret) and MUing them. MUs till like Brigadier, then save for M3 kits at Lieutenant General. 

 

Also, go for kits. At your level, save up and get an M2 kit or two, then start saving up for M3 kits by Brigadier. Hope this helps ;)

I have to keep up with people who spend money, too. So I saved for over a year and got Bulldozer before all M3 equipment got pulled up to Marshal for early access to the M3.

 

I have applied MUs to it to get it into the forties out of fifty, nothing bought. I use a few supplies, but you'll see supply numbers like mine going up as people who can't get M3s have to keep up with drugging Legends with full M4 equipment and all supplies active all the time out of habit. As you go up the ranks, you'll see more and more druggers.

 

I still have an M2 hull. I get chewed apart against high ranks who drug because I don't use 50 supplies in a 15 minute game (and usualy a week or more). I had one guy not too far above me with M3+ equipment who used every supply and at least 10 in a 2-minute period, spawn-camp killing me in a 1v1 until I blew his can up. Then he quit, with 12 minutes to go. I'm still trying to understand this.

 

If I find that I am dominating a map because there's only M1/M2 equipment around, I will actively target druggers on the other team and block them from what they want to do (flag, taking up a preferred position, blowing them up if a gold drops, etc.). Sometimes I purposefully avoid someone at your rank, whom I know I could two-shot, because someone else on my team with the same situation can handle you or at least have a fair fight.

 

If a drugger wants to be a prima donna, and if I can do anything about it, I try. Impossible when I'm playing up. I can keep up with higher ranks unless they're drugging. I can dominate people at or below my rank.... unless they're drugging. Drugs are how you pay to win, generally, more importantly than your equipment except at the highest echelons.

Isida is fine honestly, I get tons of xp from it on this account. And I have 90K currently, so I will definitly save up for a M2 kit now. But I honestly can't have any fun when playing on my main account (MegaxStoerxBoy). I have played this game for over 5 years and have tons of drugs, but even with drugs I don't have any fun.

You have done really well with your account, I fked up and it's unplayable. You have done really well with your account, I teddy beared up and it's unplayable. I have so much drugs on my main account because I have played this game over 5yrs and logged in every day before the daily mission update, (MegaxStoerxBoy), but when  I use it I honestly don't have any fun and other people also drugs allot, so my drugs is useless pretty much. The bold part - try getting more crystals than you earn XP. That being said, Isida might not be very good in that regard, XP/BP + missions prolly does better.

 

Also, nice decision, going for kits. My recommendation would be something like Northener or Minotaur, or maybe like Firewall, but upto you.

 

For your main, its not bad. I'd recommend using Thunder/Hornet on long range maps where you wanna be long range, Mammoth/Twins in close quarter battles like Poly CP, and Fire/Freeze whereever you like :p Also, you hate Thunders - USE THAT CEDAR LGC. And use drugs. Save up till M3 kits and play against lower ranks.

Getting m3s without buying at colonel used to be easy, i don't buy and had my isida m3½ back then. Anyways i understand it's kinda bs:y now, that you can't even get m3s to fight them with. Still, every low rank m3 is gonna rank up pretty quickly and stuff will balance out.

Well, besides the drug part, there is still nothing you can do against full m4 drugging jackhammer, but leave... but those are the guys paying for our playing so i don't personally mind.

You save for an M3 and think you'll be really strong, then by the time you have an M3 so does everyone else. You save up some drugs from mission chains, only to find that everyone else has bought the 1500 supplies kit from the garage. Then you microupgrade your equipment, only for tanki to make it weaker in a 'rebalance'. Finally you have a range of M3 equipment, but all battles get taken over by the drugging team who steal the battle fund in the last 5 minutes...

It drives me insane when theres an m3 in the battle, because no matter what team they are on, they ruin the fun for everyone.

 

So far I have encounter m3 isida, m3 viking, m3 thunder, m3 hornet, and m3 railgun(technically my friend is a serious buyer and he bought tornado kit and MU'd it to m3 level Although I have seen an actual m3 hornet with the beehive design though.), 

This is especially annoying because my rank is the rank when u slowly start getting m2s, and since my garage(not for long) is m0 and m1, it becomes plain stupid when the m3 thunder guy drugs and one shots my hornet M1

I honestly don't mind m3s, even fully MU'd ones.  A drugged m1 is more powerful than any m3.  This is why drugs are much more frustrating to deal with than higher-level equipment.
