[Declined] Forum - Let us Edit Titles

I really don't understand why we can't edit our own titles of our posts. But I would def. like to especially if you accidently hit the button....

We can't allow players to edit titles mostly because of the difficulties it creates for forum moderators. In this type of forum there is no way for a moderator to be notified about someone changing a topic's title. So while new topics and their titles either appear in our notification boxes directly or end up being seen when a mod checks the section, older topics do not, therefore someone can just change the title of an old topic they made and no one will notice. So many players may find that topic before mods and there will be questions like "why did mods allow this title?".

 

If you need to rename your topic, simply report the first post and write in the reason "Please rename to: ________"

Yea that wouls be good. If you want to edit a title you can pm a forum mod.

Unnecessary Idea.. First of all you shouldn't change the title many times. If you want to or made a mistake , simply PM to a forum mod to get it changed. Changing topic titles frequently will make people find it hard to locate that particular topic
