ProBattles: via ProPass or PayPerUse

Propasses are way too expensive for low ranks, while they are akwardly cheap for high ranks.

Players that come only seldom online have to spend most of their income to keep the propass going.

 

in addition to todays ProPass, I propose a PayPerUse system to solve the problem:

  • Every player will be able to activate the [ProBattle] checkbox during the battle creation,
  • with all the all the ProSettings are allowed as today
  • In such [ProBattles] :
    • the players without a ProPass receive 10% less crystal reward
    • The players that purchased a ProPass get the full reward

 

 

 

 

Example on the PayPerUse costs:

 

 

You just pay what you use:

 

 

Rank , 1h playtime each day

 

 

    average 100 battles per month; average earnings of 300cr/battle (in normal battles)

 

    0% spent in pro battles -> earnings of 30.000 crystals per month

  a single battle per month spent in pro battles -> earnings of 29.970 crystals per month (costs for pro were 30/month)

  20 battle per month spent in pro battles -> earnings of 29.970 crystals per month (costs for pro were 600/month)

  50% spent in pro battles -> earnings after costs are 28.500 crystals per month (costs for pro were 1500/month)

100% spent in pro battles -> earnings after costs are 27.000 crystals per month (costs for pro were 3000/month)

(^- those are earnings from battles. Earnings from missions come on top, and will not be reduced)

 

 

 

 

Rank , 1h playtime each day

 

 

    average 100 battles per month; average earnings of 70cr/battle (in normal battles)

 

    0% spent in pro battles -> earnings of 7.000 crystals per month

  a single battle per month spent in pro battles -> earnings of 6.993 crystals per month (costs for pro were 7/month)

  20 battle per month spent in pro battles -> earnings of 6.870 crystals per month (costs for pro were 140/month)

  50% spent in pro battles -> earnings after costs are 6.650 crystals per month (costs for pro were 350/month)

100% spent in pro battles -> earnings after costs are 6.300 crystals per month (costs for pro were 700/month)

(^- those are earnings from battles. Earnings from missions come on top, and will not be reduced)

 

 

 

You just pay what you use.

 

Maths explained: Playing 7 hours per week = 30 hours per month = 30.000 crystals per month (from battles, not counting missions!!). 10% of 30.000 crystals = 3.000 crystals; which I "pay" as price for playing drug-free (which I consider as a fair price for my rank).

 

 

 

 

 

Effects, Cost caps, Premium and Clan interworking..

 

 

Effect on Lower and Higher ranks

Lower ranks: get finally access to Pro Battles.

High Ranks: pay a fair price if they play a lot and pay only a little if they come online seldomly

It's simply 10% of your earnings in the particular pro battle you are in.

 

 

ProPass still available

There are some players that earn 100k crystals per week.

Those are better off to purchase the normal ProPass.

 

 

Premiums + clan members

..could be awarded with "pro for free" which puts them in the same advanced position as today.

But I would say keep the pro pass as a 2nd option because personally i rather pay 5k each month on paying 10% of my earnings.

The only reason why I can see developers rejecting this idea is because it would generate a lot of complaints from inexperienced users. Even if there would be a notification when entering PRO battles, saying "the funds are 90% lower here", people would complain and ask "why?". Seems like too much hassle that devs and tech support would have to deal with.

Or it can go back to old times. If you don't have a PRO Pass its costs you 500 crystals to enter 1 PRO battle. This would be handing for rank-ups / you want to try parkour or XP BP DR. etc

So you mean

  • the creation of ProBattles is possible for everyone, and is for free
  • in order to join a ProBattle (even your own) you have to have
    • EITHER a monthly ProPass like today
    • OR you enter without Pro-Pass and Tanki keeps those 10%

 

Hmm.. that's an option too.

Good idea for high ranked players, but the lower ranked palyers have no access to pro battles then

500 crystals are a lot for low ranked players.

The funds aren't 90% lower, they're 10% lower. I would even make them 20% lower, so there's more chance of this idea being implemented, because we can't get everything super easily. I for sure would use this, because at my rank there aren't enough good PRO battles to justify buying the pass.

 

However, I would add a third option: pay 200 crystals a battle for 15 minutes, 400 for 30 minutes, and 800 for 60 minutes.  And even a fourth option: Lifetime PRO pass, costs 150k crystals and enables you to join PRO battles forever. So we have 4 methods to play PRO battles:

 

      -Get the pass for one month, 5k cost

      -Get the lifetime pass, 150k cost

      -pay a fee for every battle(200 cost for 15 minutes)

      -or, get your crystal earnings reduced by 20%

What's wrong with the current system? I mean yes, the current system is not-so-good for low rankers. Anyway it is not worth it for them, as there are barely any battles which are pro and are playable to them. For the 10% from my earning part. Its definitely a No-No for me, I would never give up any 'percentage' of my earnings as it may vary from time to time. I would just pay 5k and earn whatever I can. Secondly, Isn't lifetime pass for 150k too cheap? I mean, I just pay this and play for years and years, where as I just pay for 30 months, although has many players might leave the game in the time being, so it might not be worth it. The 'Pay a fee for every battle' Idea sounds like a good one to me, as with this, players from any rank can try out stuff.

All the other reasons I can think of, is Low ranks not getting enough battle funds and its definitely not worth the crystals. So yes it is kind of unfair. At the same time buying a pro pass at those ranks unlocks nothing special but parkour battles. As I can barely find any pro battles to actually earn crystals from at those ranks.

 

Well if you still like the current system, you can still use it, so why does it matter?  

I am using it, and I will. That doesn't matter anyway.

of course you cant find any pro battles in lower ranks.

There are so few battles

- because noone can afford to spend so much on that

For 5000 crystals you can almost purchase the whole M0 garage.

For 5000 crystals you can almost purchase half Wasp M1.

 

- because noone can afford it, they do not create and enter battles

 

 

The argumentation turns in a circle.. and it all evolves around the way to high price for low rankers

That's what can be changes with this proposal

Why not make a permanent pro pass in the shop for, let's say 50k crystals?

However, I would add a third option: pay 200 crystals a battle for 15 minutes, 400 for 30 minutes, and 800 for 60 minutes.  And even a fourth option: Lifetime PRO pass, costs 150k crystals and enables you to join PRO battles forever. So we have 4 methods to play PRO battles:

So you see a permanent or lifetime pass would cost 150k...50 thousand is too little for high-rankers....150 thousand is the equivalent of 2 and a half years of PRO battles if you bought the pass each month....so I think it's fair.

what about reducing the fund by 10% inside a pro battle, and then giving pro pass users those crystals back as bonus - in the same way it is displayed for Premiums today?
