OMG I beat Fen-Harel in a quest  :o

About that, he doeant agree.  You see, you only did it before him because you saw it before him, but if we go by overall timespam, he did it almost 3 times quicker than you.

Incredibly easy it looks  It's a pigpen isn't it? :P

++ but its still not that tricky, I already can figure out at least two or three letters

Well, at least it isn't as tricky as any quiz I'd make  :P

Quite. It's fun tbh to create a quest, so fun to see nugs falling apart like nugs

I told you all how easy this was  well I gotta hurry den :P

Here's the thing - I agree that the quest may not be the toughest thing ever, but your comments here are implying some categorically wrong facts as well as being pretty smug.

This isn't a pigpen cipher, because the letters aren't formed from a grid, they're individual letters.

Then for some reason you're talking as if you've made a quest before (or at least that you can make a better one), which I'm not aware that you have. This really looks like you're trying to take away from Yisroel's actual efforts to make something fun on the forum. Seriously, the last thing this forum needs is losing creative people who keep the community going, so helping it downgrade is definitely something everyone should avoid doing...

You're then even trying to undermine the accomplishments of those who actually finished the quest themselves and spent some time on it. No one likes people who sit around boasting about their prowess, but don't demonstrate anything.

This isn't the first time you've done this, too. Still, I'm trying to help you out in actually noticing the issues, so that you may correct them. Talking big and being dishonest and misleading isn't a good characteristic to have, and sadly it seems you've excelled at it for some time now. Try actually stepping up and acting instead of taking the backseat and commenting arrogantly.

I would like to add that this thread in particularly especially exemplifies his arrogance, like no other; why exactly do you think that is an acceptable way to act, and why do I feel like you're going to vehemently deny Dread.Wolf's claims?

Each character stands for a letter. Language is of course english. I found it to be realllyyyy hard to decode it. You really got to take your time and be patient. Can't give you more than that without giving hints :x

Btw, native english speakers have it easier than non-natives

Well, I don't think you know I do have basic knowledge of cryptography. I know the letter's tricky, but I meant to say it's not as tricky as people make out, like rabin himself did. It's actually not too tricky if you have knowledge of cryptography and how to dechiper it, whether by, erm, I can't give hints anymore :p

Btw I later realized the letter isn't any kind of pigpen based language after I actually tested it in a pigpen drawn on paper - I originally assumed you could fit in the odd letters but no...

I do admit he's done a good job, pretty tricky to decode it with the lazy nug I am, but this still isn't too much difficult. As rabin said, he was astonished at the fact he got the first three winners in no more than two or three days, and the first two in the first day!

Also you can see I tried to answer a question in the third quote, and it really is fun to ceate a quest. Tho I will admit i was being waay too proud, but the first time I did assume it to be rather easy. Also I have ideas for tricky quests, and i have indeed made one quest earlier, but yea, i understand. Thanks m8 ;)

As for the fourth quote, I meant to say that Rabin overestimated the quest's difficulty, and that it was like exponentially easier than what he described. As for me personally not doing anything, I'm quite lazy, plus I don't have that much knowledge of cryptography to do this quickly enough for my young 11 year old brain to not spontaneously explode if you get what i mean :p it already gets on the verge of blowing up whenever I try to learn cryptography extensively.. think calculus is better after all

But let's not turn this into a flamewar, and let's focus on the actual quest, cause everyone except sadistic people hate flamewars.

Done it, waiting for Rabin to read PM :p

Congo! Hope you win, and do deny accept the gold :p

Also this is funny, three people in a row, all denying the gold and all being selfless. :p

In reality, Yisroel doesn't actually have a goldbox and so he says we don't want it

^

Truu, extraneous solution much?

In reality, Yisroel doesn't actually have a goldbox and so he says we don't want it

TBH, Yis did post a photo of him receiving a mission with gold supply reward in PotD, and anyways, I doubt all of the three would choose to avoid confirming this rumour in a serious tone when they know there isn't a gold box supply... (Fen, confirm or debunk this rumour, I call you here)

Well, we finally have a winner who is taking the gold box, and his name is !  So that means there'll be no prize for any future winners, nonetheless, feel free to get as much fun out of the quest itself as possible without the prize. :P

^I guess I'm mean taking the Goldbox, but I've wanted a gold selfie for a long time and I have a gold mission.

Excuse my feeble excuses. I wanna gold, k? :d
