hello cedric

i have a question

what if I buy the " masters of parkour" paint and don't participate in the contest. will the paint still remain in my garage?

please answer me

no it will be removed once the contest is over.. the only players who get to keep it will be the winners ( top 10 i think )

IMO if the winners would be split in 2 categories of 1) who used spectator mode and 2) who didn't use the spectator mode, would solve the issue of only the teams who used spec winning. And ofcourse only 5 winners in each categories, which makes it 10 winners.

Hola peeps,

There's nothing in the rules that say you can't use 3 or 4 or 5 or 6 cameratanks to film for your team.  You get an even bigger advantage than just 1 spec guy.  You get to have various points of view filmed instantaneously which you can just quickly edit to make a nice montage.

What matters to judges is seeing only 4 clear names doing the tricks and the awesomeness of the tricks.  Everything else is irrelevant.  It doesn't matter if your video has good music, lousy music, no music or if its shot from a spec mode or from one or multiple cameratanks.

yes cameratank is totally a word mkay

I like how you wanted to have a change in the Masters of Parkour this year how ever having a timed contest at the end didn't seem like a good idea, being that most parkour if it is good will take some time...Rather then have a timed event maybe could change this for future years that a random house in stage 2 is picked randomly and each team is timed at that point to come up with best trick onto that given house? Please give me your thoughts on this idea?

Thanks,

darrrex

That would be a bit too specific I think, and might open up a can of worms. Let's see how it goes this time around.

The paint will leave your garage if you're not one of the finalists.

Nope, disagree completely. It's perfectly possible to shoot cool vids with modeless spec.

Just a small clarification, I think presentation IS important. Don't leave anything to chance. Use good (and royalty-free) music and do your best for your video to look top notch. In the end, every little bit counts.

I don't think TFP wants others to copy their tricks..

No, you are misunderstanding. Guides are to teach people, so from my experience when I watched ToT 1 year back, I wasn't trying to create a replica of the trick but something similar. So if you could do something like that, then it would be good, that is how you will have a better chance of winning. But by copying, that doesn't show you are worthy of becoming a Master of Parkour. So hope you understand :D

I don't think it's not possible to make cool vids without spec either. Just made the suggestion since there is a big fuzz because of spec's advantages.

Actually I disagree. It still takes considerable skill to replicate what TFP or other parkour teams are doing. I definitely wouldn't be able to do it myself.

Nope, the 5th player can record but won't get any rewards. :)

Ah thanks <3 for saying what we do is very 'professional'. I was trying to say, that people should just copy the exact trick from our guide as it doesn't show that they are good in parkour,

Like the official post by TFP says, I was trying to tell them that they it should not be exactly the same ;) But anyways yeah I understand what you mean as well :P

Aren't your videos called guides for a reason? Maybe you should change the name to showcase
