Hey guys,

 

I was going to write out the whole story on why I'm making this topic but I figured you guys wouldn't and honestly shouldn't care. So instead, I'm just going to do this with a few notes.

 

First of all, I'm leaving the game.

 

*Everyone goes nuts!!! Rabin is quitting Tanki!?!?!!!*

 

Okey, chill for a second. I'm leaving the game, but I'll probably almost definitely return to it in the summer, or whenever I feel I have enough free time to do so (holidays). Also, I know there's no way to say this without sounding like a total noob, so please bear with me, but yes, I will stay on the forum. No where near as much as I have until now, but I will come online for about 10 minutes every other day or so. I just wanted to clear that up so I don't get backlash for entering the forum.

 

Although I'll be on the forum, besides for not being on it as often I won't be as involved as I was until now. So with that thought in mind I've handed all my topics and groups to fellow friends who I believe will take good care of them.

 

At around this point of the average quitting topic, one will make a list of all the people they've befriended and of whom they'll miss ever-so much... I'm not going to do that, obviously - If you're my friend, you know who you are and don't need me to say it. However, as unfortunate as it is, I have in fact made a couple of "not-so-good" relationships with a few players over the course of my Tanki Online life, to which I want to publicly apoligize to right now:

and sort of Cedric and Nik :x

 

Additionally, I want to apoligize to @GoldRock (again, but this time publicly) for perhaps "letting him down" in a way. He accepted me into the reporter candidacy knowing I had potential as a great reporter (despite what other Admins may have told him about me and my karma (or not (or yes))), and then a week later I quit the game along with the job... Awkward, but unexpected stuff happen. Sorry.

 

(On a side note: I will remain in the reporter forum group until the end of the month to finish of my article(s) for this months' issue. See, I'm still going to be on the forum, especially for that.)

 

Finally, I want to stress that this is NOT a "R.I.P. *insert username here*" topic, because it's not like I am leaving Tanki; I'm still on the forum, I'm still here, I'm still a tanker. I just won't be doing all the projects and handling all the topics I used to (like doing modeless spectator albums, doing holiday albums, managing the UMG, managing the nickname change and alternative accounts topic, being a reporter).

 

With that, I think that's where this topic comes to an end. Thanks to all you nugs for being an awesome community (sorta) and feel free to comment how much you'll miss me below (if you do you obviously haven't read a word of this topic).

I would say GL IRL..... But it seems that whenever someone say that they are leaving they are back within the week :P (no one escapes Tanki. Its to addicting and we have all made to many friends here to be able to actually leave)

Yup, I said it last year, although in a compketely different case. In other words, right now I don't have the option to return to the game. I don't have a laptop/computer and I did in fact limit my forum time to 10-15 mins daily (or every other day).

 

Also, I don't remember quitting  2 years ago, and even last year I came back when I said I would: after a month (not a week).
