Rework /vote command

The current /vote system seems to be very ineffective at the moment. There are a lot of restrictions that only allow a player to be highlighted if a series of events happen. These include 25% of the people in the battle to report this one player, everyone that has reported the player to stay in the battle and the offender to stay in the battle.

 

Many players will leave a battle if a violator comes into the battle which basically ruins this system.

 

I suggest that once the player has received a number of votes, his nickname remains highlighted regardless of whether someone who voted him leave or he leaves. He will remain highlighted for a certain length of time no matter what he does.

 

There also could be different levels of alerts.

  • If 15% of the people in battle report him, he is put on low alert.
    Duration of alert (6 hours)
     
  • If 25% of the people in battle report him, he is put on medium alert
    Duration of alert (24 hours)
     
  • If 25% of the people in battle report him and he is found to be hacking (auto-self-destruct system triggers), he is put on high alert.
    Duration of alert (1 week)

The thing is, I'm pretty sure there's already so many "high alert" battles that battle mods simply can't respond to all of them in time. So if this is implemented, high alert battles will obviously have higher priority and there will still be so many of them that medium and low alert battles will never be investigated, rendering the feature useless.

more mods could fix this not only 30 inactive battle mods.

I like the idea of the vote command having a more persistant influence on the voted account.

I fear this method could be abused, as the wear-off you specified is rather long

 

example: some players vote noobs just to get rid of them;

If they have a week alarm with them.. it is not usefull

 

 

I'd like to invite you to read this proposal, which aims in the same direction.

As you thought about solutions yourself, you can for sure advice me into some changes that make it more robust and helpfull
