Quick battles and multi-account management

greetings tankers,

 

I really wanted to say that, current pause timer is really annoying and disturbing for me,because sometime my internet connection is not that good to be honest but whenever crash occurs at lobbies it takes time for me to load and the duration of pause timer is decreased  so it is really frustrated for me losing good amount crystal and second reason is that i don't know why game developers wanted to decrease the duration of pause timer,5 mins duration was really OK for me even tho if my team mates are pausing their game it doesn't make any difference for me.For love of god please increase the duration of pause timer. thank you for reading this horrible complain and i hope u will fix this problem or banned me from game(don't do it please)

The 2 minute pause times are killing me, there are hours here stretching 5 hours long, increase the max pause time to at least 5 minutes

I don't know why i bother to give feedback about updates, tanki never changes what they do even after the majority of the community are against it.

 

But i'll try again anyway. maybe for once you'll listen to us.... but i doubt it. Quick battles are awful. Pause time is to short. Hate only having 15 minute normal battles. And after the update there is even MORE lag. It takes me 2-3 minutes just to load into a game whereas before the update it took 10-30 seconds max.

 

The only good part about this update is the multiple account system. 

 

Again lets see if you even bother to listen to us.

Quick battles are awful? +

Pause time is to open short? -, if you're afk for 1/3rd of the battle you shouldn't enter it in the first place imo

Lag is a constant thing I'm afraid in TO it seems like :rolleyes:

It should be possible to earn more pause time by active battling (=hitting targets).

  • For each 15min of active gameplay, you should get +1minute pause time

    You earn like +4seconds for each minute of gameplay in which you hit at least 1 or 2 targets.

  • up to a max. of 4 minutes
  • This should work for the pause time; not for disconnect for lost connections

 

examples

 

 

Normal players:

00:00:  battle started: 2 min pause available

15:00:  +1min gained on your pause time account; total of 3min pause available

30:00:  +1min gained on your pause time account; total of 4min pause available. Pause time account reached max.

45:00:  +0min gained on your pause time account as the max of 4 min is reached; total of 4min pause available

45:00:   --- ENTER PAUSE---

48:00:   --- RESUME BATTLE ---  (consumed 3 minutes of pause time, 1 min of pause time left in your pause time account)

63:00:   +1min gained on your pause time account; total of 2 min pause available

...

 

Mults get removed faster:

00:00 enter battle,

01:00   --- ENTER PAUSE---  got killed, was set to pause mode.

02:30   --- RESUME BATTLE---  mult owner moves mult. pause time consumed = 1m30sec. Pause time left = 30sec

03:00   --- ENTER PAUSE---  got killed, was set to pause mode. Only 30sec pause available.
          he does not get new 2 minutes !!

03:30 -> pause expired. mult removed.

 

 

 

 

 

This should work for the pause time; not for disconnect for lost connections. It would be bad of someone uses 3m30sec of his pause, and then looses his connection and has only 30sec to reconnect.

This is how it works now anyway. Pause time and reconnection time are two different timers and will not be connected.

I've escalated the complaint to the devs.

Please do, two minutes is a very short time. At least make it bigger for Pro battles.

If you do it for them ,then you should do it for everyone.. is this not a form of discrimination to non paying players .. its time to give to all who deserve it as much as the next person .. i'm not amused to hear what has been happening with this update .. sure we now get regular battles but no longer can or will be allowed to create battles .. this is not a form of  segregation   of players .. for the ones who can afford to buy passes and the ones who can't ... if you continue to do this update , then increase the battle funds so we all  can afford to invest in them .. till then .. its not worthy to even think about

Agreed, a better option would be to increase the pause time with increased battle time, perhaps in combination with some cool down mechanism on pause time to prevent too much misuse. It's easy to play for 15 minutes or 30 minutes without any interruption, but playing long battles (several hours), is likely to require a bit longer pause time.

so in theory .. why put this update date out in the first place .. it just got players in a up roar over nothing ..if they were to cancel it out all together... and this button to find battles is not worthy also when most players would rather find there own good battles with mates or even good players..

 

. creating a button it reminds me of .... how many times were told NOT TO PUSH THE RED BUTTON.......

thats good.

 

Has this idea (pause time account per player, per battle, to earn additional pause time by activity) some chances to get implemented?

It would help a lot for longer battles.

 

pls note that the activity is not meassured by moving, but by hitting some enemy at a regular base (so mult owners can not automate their mults by a 10 lines script..)

I think in shorter battles, the reduced pause time is great, because like I said earlier 15 or 30 minute battles can be easily played without any interruption. I'm sure they won't cancel the update again, I just hope they will fine tune the pause timer.

Everyone can afford the Pro Pass.

But not everyone can play enough to make a significant profit off the PRO pass, meaning they earn lots of xp (in PRO battles) and get a net profit of like 50 crystals.

If you play less you get more crystals/xp than players who play more because of Daily Missions.

True. But doesn't Tanki want to encourage players to play more?

If they truly want to encourage them they should cancel Daily Missions give extra crystals to players who get more XP on a day.

1000 XP = 100 crystals

5000 XP = 500 crystals

10 000 XP = 1000 crystals

or something like that

Everyone can afford the Pro Pass.

we can debate this one till the cow's come home.. some of the players are not strong enough when they first start out in pro battles this is why they can' afford them also there are players who seldom battle now , they only come on now to get missions done and most missions now can be done on regular battles / if they find the right ones ... over all this is a huge blunder that will fail .. all we can ask is  WHY ??

 

most players are trying to save up for turrets or hulls and alterations which we all know are outrageous in pricing and this is also a factor that we have to take in consideration in the game ... with all that is going on How can players even get ahead in this game ... the only way to make it far is to BUY $$$$$$$

If you don't give some advantage to players with Pro Pass nobody will buy it.

I think the devs promised everyone will be able to play on mission related maps.

 

Edit: I will buy the Pro Pass either way because I hate being destroyed by druggers over and over. And I welcome every change which forces people to buy it.
