From 02:00 UTC this Saturday, till 02:00 UTC on Monday, battle funds will be increased by 50%. For Premium tankers, the bonus is even bigger... 150%.

The bonus is even bigger? Tell me where the bonus column is on the scoreboard. It's the end column right? Is it 150% this weekend? No. It's just 100% as normal.

 

The wording is misleading and the only reason they mention it in this way is to dupe people and trick them into buying premium in my opinion. Do you think it's an honest mistake?

The parameters for premium holders and non-premium holders didn't change. The only thing that changed was the a 50% increase of battlefunds.

 

During the promotion, non-premium holders and premium holders enjoy the same increase - 50%. One is not "bigger".

Battle found would have been:

* 4236 without the bonus

* 6354 with the +50%

* 12708 with the +50% and the time 2 (from premium).

so 12708 / 4236 = 3 (~300%).

but you need to remove the  battle found without the bonus (which is 4236) so it is in fact 200% more for Premium

and then remove the 50% from standard player so it is 150% more for premium versus standard player.

It's tricky i would have said premium got 200% versus normal found.

Nobody is disputing that 100 + 50 = 150. I understand premium holders get 100% and here everyone got 50% more battle funds but in order to do this you have to put things in the correct order;

 

4236 under normal conditons

8472 with 100% added for holding premium

12708 received

 

so 12708 / 8472 = 1.5

 

multiplying something by 1.5 is the same as giving it a 50% increase so...

on Monday, battle funds will be increased by 50%. For Premium tankers, the bonus is even bigger... 150%.

During regular days, premium players earn twice more crystals (X crystals)*2 = 100% crystals more.

During this event, they earned the usual double amount + half of this amount, therefore (X crystals)*2+(X crystals)/2 = 150% crystals more.

Therefore, premium players earned 50% more than during regular days... Like non-premium players.

As Blackwasp777 pointed out, the baseline is important. If you want to describe what a regular player would get, in terms of an increase, compared to what they previously got should they have bought premium at this time then a 200% increase would be right.

 

But a premium tanker already in receipt of the pass does not get this. He gets a 50% increase - see above as already explained.

 

In your example where a premium tanker would normally be awarded 1000 crystals;

 

Prior to promotion:

1000 normal

becomes 2000 after bonus added

 

2000 total.

 

 

During promotion:

1000 with 50% increase becomes 1500

becomes 3000 after bonus added

 

3000 total.

 

3000/2000 = 1.5 which is equivalent to a 50% increase, not 200%
