a glitch in DM is decreasing the scores/earnings

No, it's not. Please think before replying.

The experimental feature is only enabled in DM battles, where only kills matter. Regardless of how much EXP you get for killing a tank, you still get 1 kill added to your total, which is the only thing that determines your reward. Therefore this experiment does not affect you.

Besides, why are you even complaining that you get less EXP? The less you get - the higher will be your gained crystals/experience ration and therefore you will find it easier to save up for new items and upgrades and buy them sooner or even as soon as they become available at the appropriate rank. There is no reason to want more EXP at your rank unless you are a buyer with practically limitless crystals.

First of all, we do not condone stereotypical comments or discussion of alcohol on the forum. Second - the answer is not my personal opinion, but instructions from the community manager regarding what information to give if players ask about the experience issue in DM.

This is not a glitch and developers may remove it, but not "fix" it.

Oh and...

Thanks for the compliment, but I don't "work" for AlternativaPlatform. I'm a regular player who volunteers to help in the forum and my nickname does not violate any of the Game Rules :)

Maf, I believe it is you who have not thought before posting. The mission "Earn XP in DM mode" is directly and very negatively impacted by this change.

For anyone in AP reading:

Moreover I suspect that this 'experiment' is impacting orders of magnitude more legitimate players than power-levelers.

Moreover again, if power-leveling is the problem, why not apply this 'experiment' only to 1-1 games?

Actually, that's a good point. I missed it.

But still, I think that the feature is logical. Just like you used to get more EXP for killing higher ranks and less for lower ranks back in 2011-2012 (I have no idea why they removed that), getting less EXP for killing less active players also makes sense. Because if someone is just driving around the map and barely shooting anyone, they make and easy kill. And it makes sense to reward less EXP for killing someone, who's not giving you any challenge.

Thank you.

I agree with you in principle - that the difficulty of the kill should influence the reward.

Where I continue to be frustrated is that 1 - they did this secretly, sneakily. And 2 - that their solution was (again) to just take something away. Why not also give some more XP to those 'difficult' tanks? That way the overall XP distribution in a battle remains balanced. But no, it's take take take.

in teammodes:

It gives 15 in total to all members that dealt damage on that tank within the last 15 seconds before the kill.

All beyond 15 seconds is/was wasted.

If only one tank dealt damage and the kill is his alone, he will get 10 xp

(those 15sec could have been changed to more or less in the meanwhile.. they are not very informative on such details. But the timer is definitely here.)

Experiment is just a good way to say *Sorry, we have to apply this bad update*

Anyway, i believe that this update will kick many power levelers, and i see it as re-balance of score & crystals earned, and it will help a lot of newbies to get extra exp for a kill while the professionals will get less exp.

P.S : This update has been applied in all modes, not just DM.

nooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!! But I like sniping WO3s with my rail M2. Now I'll get less exp for it
