well the sale should start today seeing its Black Friday sales on line and in stores

 

well you are fully aware of how i feel about this new update .. will i use it no way.. it failed me yesterday when i had a mission to do in DM and it took me to a flag battle .. I refuse to waste my time using it when, all i have to do is click on what i want to battle in ..

I wonder if - in the near future - the battle-button

  • will allow us to team up with our friends before clicking the button (like a friends-queue)
  • then the teamlead clicks the button; and it will lead the whole gang (complete friends queue) to hidden battle where the loosing team lack that amount of players (should be enough of those around :P )
  • and all players that are in that battle, can not invite further friends
..

 

^ please create something like this for the battle button. Playing with friends is one of the BEST parts in this game.

I bet Tanki is aware of the economical impact too (maybe spend a little bit to keep up with friends).

 

 


I am happy to see a matchmaking system

 

Please do not consider matchmaking as best solution to cope with mults. Players love to choose their battles - that's clearly learned by the last days (battle creation only via pro pass => leads to => 50% played "fake Pro" battles with all _default features_ active; this means they played "normal" battles with map selection.

Other means (like kick2.0; or check the ideas section..) are way better suited to solve multing in all spheres of the game, and not only in the matchmaking part of it.

 

 

by the way, please tell us, which parts of the matchmaking are going to cost money.

Ehm... all you had to do was disable all the filters in the battle list and leave only DM, and it would've taken you to a DM battle.

ok just did it and it took me to a battle where i was the only one.. also it was not a pro battle but a regular one..( the other player joined after i did ) this is what has been happening every time ..very seldom we get real battles that we can use

Awesome! Finally cleared up some doubts surrounding the latest update. Hopefully things will settle down soon.. :D

Apparently the system'll fill it up with other tankers real soon after it makes it. Not everyone's gonna be sent to the same battle in half a second, bydo...

You just need to wait a few moments for players to join. You were sent to that battle because there were no other empty DM battles adequate to your rank. If you had created a new battle, you'd have ended with an empty battle anyway.

even when u do wait ,, most of them are doing what i did , they join and leave ... like i said i'm not sold on this new button thing .. i would rather stick to the old system it works 110 % better

As I told you in another thread, this week is different because everybody has a pro pass. Next week you'll find that there are more battles around, and most of them have a healthy number of players.

ok just did it and it took me to a battle where i was the only one.. also it was not a pro battle but a regular one..( the other player joined after i did ) this is what has been happening every time ..very seldom we get real battles that we can use

 

Lets assume there are 1000 tankers of your rankrange are on that server active fighting (70 battles visible by rankrange x 14 players per battle = ~1000 players of your rank range). Those 1000 tankers are in battles of aprox 15 minutes. Each time a battle ends, half of the tankers leave the battle and search for another one.

 

So about 1000 : 2 = 500 tankers search new battles in the course of 15 minutes; which comes down to

 >>  33 tankers per minute

 

As in the moment 10% of all tankers use the battle button in order to _stay_ there, you come down to

 >> 3,3 tankers per minute _stay_ in battle button battles

 

To fill up a battle with 6 players takes in average 2 minutes - in theory and in average.

Especially players of your rank tend to chose the battles manually.. and so it takes longer.

 

It will become faster, once the free pro passes have run out.

No way! This is basically raiding and destroys the purpose of the update. If you want to play with friends do it from the start of a battle to it's finish. Lose or win, all in. Don't prey on individuals. There's a clan system coming for dealing with groups.

 

I can't think of where to start broaching the topic of how misused the friends system already is.
