Things noobs say or do

I don't see noobs say noob  stuff a lot, but I see things that would make a gizmo want to khs

For example, people who can't use their turret while using M2 Railgun/Hornet, and other turretless people using high level gear. People who can't drive 5 meters in M1 Mammoth without druggin double armor, and then they are promptly killed by snipers, and the snipers become "drugger noob". People who can't tell the difference between an enemy player and a team mate and promptly shove afk team mates off the map. People who don't even play the objective of the match and instead whine and complain about everyone else being noobs,. People who intentionally kms to troll teams. For what I see noobs say, most of it tends to be "gold box no kill" or "admin gold box pls", "was gold" etc etc. Most comments that involve the words gold box get me really salty and I do the exact opposite of what the person asks. If they say no kill, I kill them with a vengeance. If they ask for gold I say in chat "No now stfu and don't ask" which either makes them leave or ask more, which I reply the same thing every time, or it makes them stfu and stop asking. I see a lot of people using vulcan/mammoth with an Isida behind them healing them while the vulcan afks, which at that point I promptly erase the Isida with my shaft (because most people these days use Hornet or Wasp with Isida, when they use it, making my life easy)... Just the general stuff you deal with at the low-mid ranks. lol.

Here ya go... A real life noob. I gave him some quality advice (Don't chat so much), but he shrugged it off and called me a noob. Said that I couldn't prove I had a high rank account. Eventually started cussing because I didn't have the time to argue with a noob, so... he challenged me to a duel. And, of course, he got rekt. Really bad. See below...

Snipers arent critical at all, notice how every clan team has no snipers? All they do is spawn camp enemies that are just going to respawn anyway.

Then they just haven't found a good sniper...Shafts can be critical to covering flag-runners or watching a whole section of map, or defending the flag by breaking up oncoming drugged-on attackers and attack squads.

You know what else helps people capture flags? A good isida or a meatshield. And what happens if he dies? Whos gonna pick that flag back up?

Obviously not somebody from the other team because the Shaft will sit his laser there until teammates pick it up.

And what if a medium hull or multiple people come? What happens then? A sniper will always be better replaced by an attacker.

1. If multiple people come then you could also say the Shaft's team has "multiple people". It's not fair to compare one shaft player with multiple people.

It's not true a sniper will always be better replaced by an attacker. Some attackers just dive in and get themselves killed before they can do anything.  I think you have just had a bad experience with snipers and haven't found a good one yet.

If theres too many shafts whos going to take the flag? Sure, the shaft will help them but so will an isida or a thunder. Anything a shaft can do a mobile tank can do better.

You have to achieve a perfect balance.  I never said a team with too many Shafts is idea, 1 or 2 is good.

It's simply not true that a mobile tank can do everything a Shaft can do.  A mobile tank chasing down the enemy flag-taker has to worry about mines and other enemies, while a Shaft can pick them off even as they are right about to capture the flag.  A shaft can take them down from across the map where other team members cannot get to them.

A shaft doesnt do anything to help the mines as the person who planted them usually hides, any defenders the shaft kills respawn and get back to their spot anyway. (and with a fresh set of supplies) Shaft has no area damage, when a thunder or firebird gets close to the enemy base they can wreak havoc on anyone there and take the flag.

1. The person who is hiding with all their mines has a bigger chance of being sniped from afar then being reached by a freeze or firebird.

2. I said to you before, you have only seen bad Shafts. A good Shaft player will not spawn-kill enemies but kill the most important ones: flag-runners, attackers, people chasing their own team's flag-runner, etc.

3. The area damage is more than made up for by the massive amount of damage.

4. What good is taking the flag if your own flag isn't there when you get back?

5. Shaft is great for taking out those fully-drugged people that the others can't. Shaft's high one-shot damage means that even a RK will not save any drugging hornet. Most druggers wait until the last possible moment to press 1. Shaft's high damage means that they will be caught unawares on low health and die from one shot.

6.  Shafts, when they drug, are OP. They can take out that pesky Mammoth-Vulcan with an Isida behind them that is killing your teammates. Shaft pops a DD, zooms in from a comfortable range, and one-shots that Mammoth before the Isida can do anything.

7. Shaft can single-handedly control a whole area of a map.

It is true that many Shaft players only care about kills and K/d and not their team  but as I said, those are bad Shaft players. Truly good Shaft players are a huge asset to their team. Whenever I use Shaft I'm always in first place, if I was there from the beginning.

1. This is untrue as shaft cant get to their hiding place but a firebird/freeze may be able to get them by surprise.

2&4. Leave defending to mammoths and isidas, a shaft cant get everyone if they get to the flag.

3. Massive amounts of damage not enough to one shot a medium or heavy hull, a thunder is able to take out most of an average defense team in a few shots.

5. A freeze ambush will do the same.

6. A railgun can destroy the isida easily and damage the mammoth.

7. Just because it has range doesnt mean it will destroy everything in that range. A shafts aim crumbles against a railgun or smoky.

You have clearly only played with bad Shaft players.
