After all these so called "updates" here is the moral of the story:  Do not invest in any particular turret (MUs, etc) because as soon as you get used to it, the so called "developers" will muck it up.  Here is their game plan: make them buy supplies, make them buy Pro Pass, make them buy turrets, then change the rules and we have to buy more stuff so they can somehow find a way to make money.  In the mean time, damn be the lag and the frequent random error messages that kick you out of the game and you lose whatever points you have accumulated.  Now if that is not incompetence, I do not know what it is.  These guys are not developers, they are just pretenders that cannot even develop a stable game.  Whoever pays any money for this game is a hopeless fool.

That was interesting when we had a hope we can transfer our accounts to Tanki X. Now...who cares.

I always thought that tanki developers were incompetent to a degree.  By doing this perhaps they hope that no one will ask to transfer their accounts to Tanki X so they can avoid to do the work that takes some brain power.  Another benefit would be that since everyone will start pretty much the same, then they would make a killing selling upgrades and supplies.  Conspiracy theory?  Perhaps.  But tanki counts on those 10-15 year olds to convince their parents to spend more money.  I thought that this game was free but from the looks of it, they are moving to a pay for play.  OK tanki developers convince us that this ain't so.

This is really unfair to players who have poured a lot of resources into equipment, only to have the rug pulled out from under them.  I have several of my top accounts that will become unusable.  I spend about 2 hours/day on tanki for the past year, building up my equipment and supplies the hard way, carefully considering every crystal spent.  My top two accounts are both vulcans. 

 

I think I might have to quit tanki.  This is crushing  :o

guys if you have not heard , as of Dec 9 you have to create your accounts in tanki x if you reserved a name , after that your name can be taken by others..

 

 as time go's on this will be combined into tanki x.. so if you have not checked out tanki X, i advise you to compare  both systems from the start to now and you will see that they are both heading in the same direction as one game...

 

the Dev's are not listening to us all the have on the menu is a date when they will be combined as one...

It is on the official Tanki X website. Just download the game. it's in Open Beta.

The information is available in Tanki X site and Social Media pages (FB, Twitter and Instagram). Tanki X isn't invite only anymore. Open Beta Testing started on 15th September and since then, anyone can register a new account.

They can transfer our garage as is since we have already purchased the items.  I have not seen tanki X but I am sure that they will have the same turrets and hulls.  Like I said, if they had the necessary programming skills, they could do a basic transfer.  It is just that they bit a little bit more than they can chew and they changed their tune.

And there you go with baseless conspiracies. It is true that TX has same turrets and Hulls but just check it out once and you'll understand why garage cannot be transferred in any way.

No- they are completely different games with completely different attitude, character and gameplay.

 

The advantage is that newer players like you face opponents on equal ground...a legend here would start the same rank as you in Tanki X.  There's also a lot more nicknames available.

So I've been working on my vulcan account since last summer, finally bought an m2 vulcan, and now it will be WEAKER than my m1 vulcan was?

 

It's not about vulcan or isida or fire.  It's about trust.  The protections update last summer ruined accounts that had invested in legacy paints.  The update a month or so ago ruined isida accounts and others--although they at least gave some warning.

 

Now I have one day's notice that my vulcan accounts (i have 2 w/ m2s) will now be useless.

 

It takes months and even years to build a high level account.  A player needs to learn so much, and develop a long-term strategy to have any hope of staying competitive through the ranks.  

 

And then tanki swoops in and simply changes everything.  Over and over again.  If this particular update hasn't ruined your turret of choice, don't worry.  It now seems guaranteed that sooner or later they will nerf your turret too.  But only after you've invested lots of time and/or real money. 

 

Here's the bottom line.  Without trust there can be no long term planning.  And Tanki has once again show users that there's no reason to trust them.    

EXACTLY.  This hosed my two best accounts, both with M2 vulcans that are already upgraded to better than the new M3 vulcan is.  They are going to lose 20-30% firepower AND blow up faster.  What a LOSER deal.  :(

This is the attitude that's bringing the game down, and we the players (YOUR CUSTOMERS..WHICH DESERVE ALL THE RESPECT) need to stand it, just for the heck of it???  without asking/being sure the developers are doing the right thing or in what most players (YOUR CUSTOMERS) agree on???.

 

Many people had quit because this unnesesary, illogical, uncalled updates (which only degrades the sense of the game), this changes are a prank, you are not respecting your customers. You are not making things for the better.

It's a small nerf, relax. They could have rolled out another big excuse for a rebalance.

 

Even the BIG REBALANCE in 2012 or something was better than this situation...

 

Next time they pull a "Tanki" I'm going to make an entire topic that is a persuasive article about why not to buy.
