The new continue button sucks!

 

Guys, really, continue after a battle? Of course! Or, I will go out. What is the matter with you? What the heck are you thinking?

 

Also, when is the dam confirmation button going away? YOU promised the confirmation button for going from battle to garage would be taken out! Take it out! Get rid of the stupid continue button too.

Many games have much more detailed post-pre battle screens. I mean many famous and Top 10 online games have it. What's the matter with just a small continue button?

I believe you should be able to reason that out for yourself. The global update happened in mid October and obviously they've been collecting stats on usage and performance of various equipment since then. So, what's more logical? Them releasing this patch update just after sales due to conspiracies or them actually requiring a month or so of data to decide what changes to make?

As for all the other players saying that Tanki is ripping us off, I don't know about that. But what I do know is that they have made it clear since many years ago that the game balance is dynamic and equipment will continually get tweaked so that no one combo remains OP/UP forever.

I didn't say the changes were not necessary but I could count on you to paint me as some kind of loony conspiracy theorist, quite disrespectful by the way, which seems to be the theme these days from tanki staff and helpers. I noticed you didn't address my point which was why this had to be done straight after two consecutive sales where people clearly took the opportunity to enhance their already buffed items. This is just another example of bad customer relations isn't it.

 

But it's true and not a conspiracy theory that informing players of impending nerfing to turrets before the sales would not have resulted in the gains they gotten. I thought tanki were learning from these types of mistakes. I can clearly see how upset some players are that they wasted hard earned cash or crystal savings. But go on, blame them if you want!

 

Please learn from this, aswell as informing people that any changes will be monitored closely and further changes could follow, please give players reminders of this, especially before sales and especially if you know changes are looming!

well,my first impressions

 

 

vulcan m4-------------------> gone to bits..useless to use vulcan without supplies now

vulcan m3( one account)---> its completely useless now.

 

isida m4---------------------> not much aof a boost,still kinda low compared to freeze and fire,still needs some boost in self healing and healing teammates.

 

fire m4( alteration)--------> still quite powerful but am yet to play against m4s to come to some conclusion.

i agree my frezze before update=196 damage per second now 177. 177 damage per second  before update was for frezze 0Mu but i have 30 micro upgrades. my fire from 186 damage per second to 166 per second.  vulcan wasn t op it was ok. isida isn t isida anymore.... 10 self heal per second for M0 and M4 same hmm lol tanki you are crazy). richo, twins, rail, thunder sucks. shaft op, smoky op.  and hornet M4 from 2100 to 2000 health and speed from 12 to 11,50. wasp that little rat  is op Viking is op titan,  mamoth R.I.P. i will miss you. dictator R.I.P.  hunter is ok. hahaha tanki i remember when servers was full and you had over 200k players and every discount was 50% and everything was balanced. now you have 30 k players and game is not so fun without crystal boxes. THINK FOR NEXT UPDATES

Do not cross the line. It was more than 120k, not 200k.

IT WAS MORE THAN 200 k for new year 2013!! it was like 250 k players online at the same time i remember that times

Tomorrow’s server restart at 02:00 UTC brings a number of balance tweaks to Vulcan, Firebird, Freeze, Isida, and Mines, as well as some additional changes.

 

Here are the details:

Vulcan - reduced damage and overheating time on all models

Time to overheat

  • M0: 4.18s

  • M1: 4.65s

  • M2: 4.94s

  • M3+: 6s

 

Firebird - reduced damage on all models

  • M0: 250

  • M1: 355

  • M2: 535

  • M3: 640

  • M3+: 760

Compact Cylinders Alteration - Maximum Temperature boosted by 150% instead of 200%

 

Freeze - reduced damage on all models

  • M0: 295

  • M1: 400

  • M2: 460

  • M3: 640

  • M3+: 760

 

Isida - increased damage on all models

  • M0: 279

  • M1: 330

  • M2: 405

  • M3: 544

  • M3+: 645

Broadband Transducers Alteration - Cone Angle increased by 200% instead of 150%

 

Mines Cooldown

 

For those who love mines (especially STG organizers), you’ll be happy to find out that the cooldown for mines has been brought back down to 30 seconds.

 

“Continue” Button

 

After this update, if the battle you’re playing, ends, you’ll be presented with a “Continue” button. If you wish to play the same battle again, you will need to click “Continue”. If you don’t, you’ll be automatically removed from the battle as soon as the timer reaches zero.

 

So, log in tomorrow to check out the changes. You’ll also be able to find more details about this update in the Patch Notes.

Vulcan gets a damage nerf which should be compensated with a impact force buff just like before. I mean vulcan is pretty much useless without its impact force and less damage(M4 540 -.-')

 

 

Edit- it needs a rotation buff too cause these things have been reduced in the last balance but in that case vulcan got its damage buffed.

Just tested my Vulcan m4, I had mission 300 xp on Iran map. I so good that I had to change, for my Twins 28/50 MU, after 10 minutes of battles. Only ***** in battle with Vulcan was me. Damage is too low and overheating is too fast. 1 vs 1 my Vulcan + Viking+ module Zeus I lose against Smoki +Titan no protection against Vulcan  :blink: . Before this update, this duel I win easy. I have a feeling that Vulcan now is 30%weaker

What is the point of upgrading knowing it is going to be taken away in the near future?

It is like I have 5 apples, I pay for 2 more apples. Thinking I will have 7 apples, But Tanki takes away 4 apples. Yes, I did received the 2 apples I paid for, but I no longer have 7 apples.

Imagine I give you the ultimate turret that can 1shot every mammuth on the map. You will feel OP, nice adrenaline kick. And you will feel bored soon, because all players will leave your battle. No challenge, Boring fast.

This kind of game becomes only good, if you fight players that have aproximately the same chances to fight you back. Only then interresting battles can evolve.

 

Therefore dev's have to take care, that tanker A with his apple-launcher can do as much "battle efficiency" as the other tanker B with his Melon-Catapult (if both turrets are used correctly). Therefore the number of apples and melons are balanced out

 

So balance is in principle good - but only if it's done well (in numbers and in process).

 

 

How come I feel like Tanki is running a scam?

Because they give you a lot and overshoot it, offer you a sale to buy that OP stuff, and take away a lot later.

It's better to give a little in a first round, again give a little but not to everyone in a second round, and stop giving if the balance is reached.

 

This would

a- give the players the chance to adapt to it.

b- let us all see how it works out

 

so while balance is an overall good thing, the way they do it here has some aspects that should be improved.

Balance tweaks to Isida ? Which turret is that ?  :rolleyes: 

 

I don not call Isida, Isida which can not heal itself.

What makes Isida an Isida ?

 

 

Let us have a brief look at those close range weapons

 

 

Freeze: What makes it special is freeze effect

Ricochet: What makes it special is jumping balls

Twins: What makes it special is hitting power with big damage

 

Now tell me.. What does it make Isida special ?

 

You can not freeze the enemy while shooting

You can not hide behind the wall and damage your enemy without being seen

Let me know if anyone of you have found a way to push enemy with your isida

You can not heal yourself either..

 

How could you remove self healing feature of Isida and call it Isida ?

My M4 Isida can't heal itself not even %3, I can't imagine M3 and lower ones

I have lost with my Isida M4 & Hornet M3 against Dictator M2 & Firebird M2, no supplies head to head

 

My Isida M4 is worse than Firebird M2. Why would I play now ha ?

Making Isida M4 weaker than Firebird M2 is not a work of an expert.

 

I really do feel like that all those changes are being made by bunch of Kids who have no Idea about balancing

 

I do not even play now. Only entering to collect supplies to finish the mission and quit

 

If I lose my desire by the time then I may quit Tanki too and will have no Idea of any news about rebalancing the unbalanced game

 

A friend of mine quit long time ago, doesn't even know his garage has been changed. Doesn't even know about Vulcan and Hammer. I might be following him

I like this new re-balance update. Good. Today I have tested M4 Isida on my enemies in a team battle and the damage that M4 Isida does to enemies is now good. Yes. M4 Isida is now strong again. I am glad that the developers have agreed on my M4 Isida complaints. However there is a downside. When I heal team mates in team battles, M4 Isida is still too weak. We all need a strong healer on the battlefield so lets make M4 Isida super strong again when healing team mates in team battles.

 

All modifications of Freeze are now perfect. There is no need for any change ever again.

All we need now is to have a new Rocket Launcher turret. A rocket fired at an enemy must destroy it in just one shot, even if the enemy is an M4 Mammoth, the strongest hull in the game.

Vulcan was beaten in small maps like Arena or Island easily by short range guns (Firebird, Freeze, Twins) because of the smaller short range damage and the time between the start of the rotating and the actual shooting. I tried to play them and I got an okay result most of the time but nothing extraordinary. Now I can't imagine Vulcan being competitive on those maps.

 

Vulcan was beaten in large maps like Monte Carlo or Brest by long range guns (Shaft, Railgun), because the long range damage is nearly zero. Playing on these maps was a really hard task, the only job Vulcan was capable is to protect the flag. Now with this ridiculously low damage Vulcan will disappear from those maps too.

 

Now the devs take away the advantage in medium maps like Sandbox or Polygon by reducing the firepower by almost 20%. I think the decision was made because Vulcan was kind of OP on these popular maps. More players play on them = more crying "Vulcan is OP, nerf it!". Of course someone who plays only Polygon will feel this way, but there are tons of maps where other turrets are OP, if you want to feel superior play on those maps.

This was a really stupid decision which ruins Vulcan completely.

 

Yesterday a team of 8 on Polygon CP looked like this:

3 Firebird/Freeze

1-2 Vulcan

1 Twins

2 Smoky/Thunder/Hammer

0-1 Isida

0 Railgun/Shaft

 

A few weeks from now Vulcan will completely disappear from these battles. I tried to compete with my new, nerfed Vulcan. You don't want to know the result. Vulcan was once King of Polygon, now it can't even dominate the most advantageous map. Imagine the maps where they were underpowered...

 

I seriously considered leaving Tanki Online permanently. I'll make up my mind after a few days. At least I can focus on other things instead of this stupid game.

Lets make M4 Isida super strong again. A bit stronger than before on the last re-balance update.

Here are my statistics on a perfectly balanced M4 Isida:

 

1. Healing:                                        700

 

2. Damage:                                       700

 

3. Percentage of self-healing:       50%

 

4. Reload time:                                9.00

 

5. Rotation speed:                           200

 

6. Range:                                            40

 

This are my statistics. This is what I call a strong M4 Isida, and a perfectly balance M4 Isida.

 

All the other modifications for Isida such as M0, M1 and M2 are all OK. There is no need on changing the lower modifications for Isida. Only M4 Isida must be boosted to my suggested parameters.

 

Please insist and ask the developers to make those positive changes to all the parameters of M4 Isida.

It's supposed to be Rocket Launcher turret. Not An Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Launcher turret
