Update 428 — Parameter tweaks and more

So us close up fighters get penalised when rail guns users just seem to need to point vaguely in the right direction to hit you ?

Some maps, you have to work hard to get close to enemy tanks, so you deserve a little extra over the long range hitters.

How about a longer time between being able to drug up ?  Fed up playing games where you get the same player fully drugged to the eyeballs attacking and getting away with your flag. No skill in their play what so ever.

Vulcan needed to be nerfed slightly as does Shaft. Isida was basically emasculated and Rico was also cut down a little too much. As far as rail guns, it takes skill to hit a long distance rail shot. So many factors can throw a shot off (somebody bumps you, lag, dips in the terrain, mistiming your rock so you shot high or low). The only problem with rail, is that maybe is was nerfed a  little too much. Jmho.

Now I understand how RIDDLER_8 felt.

If you wanted to make freeze and firebird less strong, just encourage players to play more on larger maps.. That was the issue. People have no right to complain that freeze and firebird are OP when the only maps they play are Polygon and Noise.

And now even if a close-ranger gets close they still lose point-blank to Twins and Rico.

First you take away firebird's burning effect...then you make even the alteration's burning weaker then the previous stock firebird.

Hopefully i can say nice job after trying out the new tweaks.  The vulcan tweak was needed for sure they were ruining good games turning them into vulcan wars.  Already thought my firebird was lowered enough and getting difficult to compete with but we'll see.  I would really like to see the mines have a 5 sec or more time delay before they vanish once the dropper of mine is destroyed, this would be great fun and make them more a part of the game strategy.

Cedric

Please forward this to the developers:

1. Firebird's burn was lowered enough. It is now a sick joke, and lowering the alteration's burning (which is the only way firebird users can buy back the previous firebird) is a bad idea.  It actually lowers your profit because less people buy the alteration.

2. Freeze and Firebird did not do too much damage. The problem was that everybody played on small maps, where naturally the short-rangers would be a bit OP.  There needs to be a better incentive for players to battle on larger maps instead of just tailoring every turret's stats to how it performs on the small maps like Polygon and Noise.

WTH... That's a drastic nerf for Vulcan. The new M2 is worse than the old M1.

nothing is permanent in tanki

its a cruel joke this.first they took out firebirds alteration and made it op.so people could actually buy it and spend some crystals on it.people buy their double crystal card.

dont tell me you did not test the firebirds alteration?

and then when lot of people bought that alteration.you decided to nerf it?

so basically why not just make it 150 percent in the first place?

tanki devs are losers!!

I hate it damadge is the only thing lower ranged guns have increase the damage of firebird and burn time and increase the damage of freese and slow freezing time and increase the self healing to 30% it'll be better by the way vulcans damage always decreases in far range so no need for this update

The alteration was OP before firebird's burning was nerfed. For the past few weeks the alteration wasn't that OP, and the stock firebird had basically no burn, only damage. Now they took away that damage so

THERE IS NO REASON NOW TO USE FIREBIRD AS OPPOSED TO FREEZE.

Vulcan was OP, but this is a bit too much. Now will be nerfed. My Vulcan is full m4, after this update, will be weaker than standard m3 ( faster overheating, damage almost equal like standard m3 ).

You change parameter each Hull and Turret in game before one month ago, but have you not, then made a good job, as you told us ??

Hazel, For some reason it says I can't quote you, so here goes:

The burning for firebird isn't very powerful anymore. It still looks the same (dark red) but in reality the afterburn is nowhere as deadly. The alteration was how players who liked the old firebird could get it back. The alteration needs a ton of afterburn, because that is part of the defining feature of firebird.

But in bigger maps now firebird and freeze will be way to weak.  Why would anyone use firebird over freeze?

What I'm saying is, you can't play in small maps where you know firebird and freeze will rule, and then complain about their power. I have played in medium/large maps and firebird and freeze were perfectly balanced. If a close-ranger manages to get close to you they deserve the kill.

Edit: He hid his post.
