Notification if your mine damages a tank

Speaks for itself right ? It makes mines more useful, drop one and forget. You get a notification if it destroys a tank, and wich tank, and how much damage it did. You should be able to turn the 'Mine Triggered' notification On or Off in the settings. Its expecially handy when you defend a large territory with mines.

similar idea:

Magnum shots may have a long flight time, and therefore you do not look at your target any more if some other area needs your attention. Therefore a simmilar idea asks for a small notification showing the damage you've dealt, if the damage counter would be out of the screen border.

The same method could be applied to mines as well, and we would solve two issues with one program code

It could look like this:

imagine the white box is your screen

the arrow+number is the damage counter for damage off-screen:

It shows in the killed list on the right side of your screen

I know, but it'd be nice to know when it does that, also when the mine only damages a tank, not destroys it.

Great idea, most m3 hulls (not to mention DA) can survive a direct go over a mine so you won't know whether to turn back and fight the weakened tank or keep running away, because if they're not destroyed you will never know, as it won't show up as a notification. :)

I proposed a loooong time ago, that your own name should be highlighted in the battle log in the upper right corner (either if you are killed, or if you kill someone).

This would solve this issue with the mines as well

It will show the damage number through any obstacle if you look (have your turret pointed) in the direction you dropped your mine no matter the distance.

That's correct, but you can't always keep looking in the direction of your mines.

This is about damage, not kills.

Turn on damage counters. If a random "1,500" shows up on the screen, someone ran over your mine.

You can't always be turning and looking where all your mines are.  I agree for most this update isn't necessary but it would be nice to some. :)

This is a good idea, however with the clutter filling the game HUD, having a notification pop up on the side saying "This guy ran over your mine for X amount of damage" would be annoying. However, a simple solution would be to add this:

The person drives on the mine and detonates it, but doesn't die. In this situation, a small text box will appear in the general area of the mine detonation detailing the name of whoever caused the detonation and the damage dealt to his tank. Using this information, you can promptly assassinate him as long as he doesn't drug a repair kit immediately upon detonation of the mine. Sounds cool right?

That Twins was having a good game XD

But yes, the kill feed now tells you that you got a mine kill. One way I knew I got mine kills prior to the balance/update is I would see random kills credited to me despite the fact that I was either camping and sniping, or pushing the flag in CTF (Only game mode I use mines)

Adding effect to activated mine. When an enemy steps on your mine, above your health you recieve little blinking icon  ( mine ) ( blinks for 3 seconds ) so you get notified when someone steps on it. Can be handy to easier locate enemies if you know where you putted mine/s. Could be switched on/off in settings. Simple as that

When u put a mine and someone gets on it u don't even know who got damage from it and hence u can't kill him
How about adding an icon in the killing bar (idk the name , the place where it shows that this guy killed him)
Like "player"mine icon (green mine if it is the mine of other player and yellow if it was mine )

Would make things a lot easier
