I had Shaft m3, Viking m3, Hochloma, a random M3 module against Smoky, RAil, and SHaft, and 2k of each drug.  Shaft M3 with DD can no-scope a Hunter M0. 

 

It was amazing. There was a Kungur CTF, everyone had Hunter/Smoky m0 except me and some guy from the other team with Night, Hunter M3 and Twins M3. We dueled it out, while our minions ran around like little nuisances. :LOL:

Noob Shafts are so easy. They are completely blind and unaware. :lol: They can't aim and take 5 seconds to ensure their shot hits a non-moving target. But PRO Shafts, combined with a half-decent team, are such **** *** ******* **** *** *******.

I'm not sure, I think Dictator and Viking are of equal width.

 

However, being a good Shaft is HARD. Like, really hard. Especially at the highest ranks.

I'm very skilled with Shaft, although, I will have to get used to the new, faster, scope mode turn speed.

You need a midrange turret when going after something they may have fortified with heavy bodies. Thunder is highly useful in a situation like this, but even better with a couple of team mates to provide the distraction of having the enemy turrets point in the opposite direction. The walls and ground around the hiding flag stealer provide splash damage for Thunder.

meh. Probably. But you have M4 Thunder and I have M1..... Big difference. Plus . M2 Firebird with DD does pretty well against a few M1 Mammoth's and M1 Viking's and possibly M2 Hornets Edited December 6, 2016 by fordmustang12345

It can be quite misleading calculating D/L. Lets say you play one battle and get 15 kills 15 deaths (d/l of 1.) Then you play another battle and get a D/L of 40, 40 kills one death. Your overall d/l is around 3.4, and it would be even lower if you got more kills and deaths in the first battle. So you see you can't just average them out, one battle has a bigger impact than another.

Oh, I know that of course....few deaths can drop your k/d....like your second death in the game. Say you get 10,000 kills, your 2nd death cuts it in half.

 

My k/d should be higher, though.

 

I always thought to myself:

 

"As long as my battle k/d is higher than my profile k/d, my profile k/d will go up."

 

Which is, of course, true, but when I get one bad battle, it drops me back down to where I started :( xD

 

I don't give a crap about k/d anymore.

 

This guy last night I saw has used over 1,000 of each supply except mines and only has a 2.55 k/d xD Mine is a little lower, but i used like a third of the drugs he has used.

 

My k/d is slowly going up again with my M2s now :D

 

I hope to get M2 Hornet and Vulcan on the Christmas sale :3

You will never have enough for good m3 kits and a strong module then. You already have a full m2 combo, and I thought you were planning on getting Smoky m2 on a sale as well. There's no need for you to get those weak m2s. (especially hornet <_< )

I know, but either that or save for Smoky, which in short will never stand a chance against Vulcan and have paid so much more - I won't be colonel by the time the Christmas sales hit. Also, as you said, Voltage needs another M2 to work well....Anaconda wrecks Voltage hands down, so I will, in a sense have gotten both kits if I get Vulcan which is a really cheap M2 which i can get on the sales

Im not saying goodbye, what im doing is trying to save. Im not trying to spend them like crazy, I'm trying to get decent equipment and save as much as possible. Im even gonna throw $4 in to get a special offer to get 30,000 crystals, a week of premium and 20 of each supply. I havent decided yet, I'm just trying to see my alternatives instead of going and flat out buying something...I really want that M2 Smoky tho...I miss my Smoky...but my needs are more important than my wants, so I'm trying to figure out what I really need.

Guys OMG!!! This was a post about all kinds of playing, not just shaft.

Only a skilled one. One that watches over the whole field and doesn't just spawn-camp newbies on the enemy base, but actually picks relevant targets to help his team's attackers take less damage and get away with the flag.

Actually, if a shaft spawn camps "newbies" plural, that means they are immobilizing part of the team, which is helpful in some way.

 

P.S go to "Lets Discuss Isida" in game discussion and look at the amount of votes for mammoth paired with isida :unsure:

In duel there's only 1 opponent, so if you don't know where they are at all times, somethings' wrong.
