Turrets don't produce the Micro upgraded damage.

My account is BOSE0000, and my twins is not producing the Damage as expected. It has a damage of 201 per shot (M3, micro update 21/50), BUT I only get 180 or 190. I have checked the damage with many enemy tanks, with no twins protection at very close range. And if the enemy tank has a protection of 20, the damage should be 160. But get only 140/shot. Please Help........

That's not how Twins, Ricochet, Smoky, and Thunder work. Instead of doing the Maximum Damage (201 in your case) it inflicts a random value between the minimum and maximum damage, in a probability curve skewed to the center. Which means, the values towards the middle or average are more common.  In distances farther than the "range of max damage"(20 meters in Twins' case) the minimum and maximum damage congruently decrease until they reach the multiplier of "weak damage" at the minimum damage range. For example, twins' minimum damage range is 80, and it's weak damage is 10%. That means that at 80 meters, twins will do 10% of it's normal, average damage values, because the minimum and maximum values have decreased by that amount.  For example, Twins M4 (within 20 meters) has a max damage of 220 and a minimum of 190, so on average, each twin shot will do 205 hp of damage.

It depends on how far away you are from your target.the further away you are from them the less damage you will deal. If you are basically is melee combat with them and they have no protection against you you will deal maximum damage

Alright, I'm about to tell you the game is a lie...

 

So listen up...

 

It has a MAXIMUM damage of 201 per shot

 

At 0 distance

 

There is no possible way for the bullet to travel 0 distance, as your hull will create distance

 

Have you tried rotating your turret 90 degrees in either way, then sticking your turret into them with a light hull? (wasp or hornet, cuz otherwise it will create distance)

 

I'm not sure if it works like that, but it just might make it 201 DPS.

Take a non moving tank, fire at it constantly with a weapon like twins or ricochet and tell me it does the same damage every time.

I_already_won is right, the damage varies randomly between your maximum damage (201) and minimum damage (172) and the damage values that are most likely to appear are those that are around the average of those two (which is 187).
