Makes perfect sense to me at least. I like these sales since they indicate TO is in a desperate need for money. Desperate needs warrant desperate measures. SO, MAYBE TO management will finally realize they need to respect their customers - US! And focus on important things - like making the game comfortable to play to begin with.

Idk everyone.. I get why players are getting mad over this but I also get why mods do it..

 

Game Industry is all about money. It doesn't matter what the game looks like, if everyone plays it devs are happy. True, most of updates these days are buyer focused and that F2P users aren't getting enough attention but still....

Developers are finally making clan system in game, which by my opinion is one of best updates ever, at least since i became TO player. But i don't see anyone talking about that?

Everyone just got mad at 30% discount on everything, but why? You have same advantages as all those buyers, if you decide to buy. This is completely like life, rich kids will have better life (account) than F2P users, but that's how it's always been and how always will.

 

There are still ways to enjoy the game without having those M4s but no one cares about that huh?

Go meet some people, join clans, play in eSports tournaments, or if it matters to you got get a girlfriend in tanki, coz complaining here won't get you anything.

I myself have never bought crystals and i still have exceptional garage and i truly enjoy the game.

Believe me, we're as frustrated as you are about the situation with gift cards, and we're trying our best to bring them back. They should hopefully return soon.

Tanki should be trying harder to get this option back, since this is the easiest way to pay if you don't have access to a Credit Card, which I'm assuming at least 50% of Tanki players are in this category. Hopefully, this can be rectified before the Christmas sales.

This is pretty much the norm every year. We have a sale for buyers in early December and then garage discounts and other celebrations at the end. I don't see why anyone should complaint when this is how it has been happening for many years.

I know i played this game years before on other accounts, but it is not point in the ( lets call it ) tradition, it is about reallity - that buyers are really starting to ruin normal gameplay and bosting them is totaly wrong. You should give them new server called Buyers Server and get them in there <_< I would like to see how are they skilled there while playing against the same category  B)

They're nothing different from you and me. They just invest money instead of time as it is a matter of convenience to them. Game ruiners exist in all categories, not just buyers. In fact, the biggest trouble makers of them all, mults and saboteurs are rarely ever buyers.

Frankly not a buyer, even if I was, I don't use paysafecard. Result: I don't care. I'm just waiting for Christmas sales as discount on something to buy with "CRYSTALS" (IN GAME Currency, if some have forgot, Now a days I can only see people speak in terms of $ )

And kick that "matter of convenience" It is just a thing made by tanki, to discriminate between someone who can buy daily, and someone who can't buy something worth 1$. Isn't it a kind of injustice? When one guy tries hard to earn crystals and buys new equipment, while someone just puts in credit card details and gets the new equipment? What a waste...It would have seriously been better if this was a "Pay" to play game. Where these two thoughts meet? They meet at the power selling point.

Tanki has been selling too much power to buyers so that game has become too much in favor of buyers. Non buyers are hard to enjoy battles.

The recent steps towards selling cosmetics (paints) and premium status (hopefully meaning a good profile page in the near future)  or even facilities (i.e. special maps for a rent / premium users only - I hope to see this some day) would restore part of the power balance and thus bring back joy for non buyers.

I hope this policy is being followed in the future.

Paysafe is not good. It charges you handling fees according to the amount you purchase; you buy more, they charge you more extra. Furthermore, The exchange rate is really really bad with Paysafe. For those who cannot buy Paysafe in USD or EURO, the exchange rate is around 10% worse than that given by your local bank. For example, Paysafe offer nearly 1.45 for USD/CAD rate but it is only 1.33 today. If you buy a Paysafe card in Canada, you have got to loss some money when you buy things in US dollars.

I purchased a paysafe card some months ago, that was worth 10 EUR.

It cost me 10 EUR, and I could purchase value for 10 EUR.

I, as the customer, payed no fees at all.

 

Of course the guys who accept it (Tanki, Steam, ..), will have to pay fees (they simply will not receive 10 EUR, but only 9,90 maybe), but that's the same with all payment methods.. even with credit cards.

You can never eradicate mults. They will just keep coming back and back on other accounts.

 

Tanki have already stated that this problem is almost unfixable.

Average increase of 2.500xp per hour, play this account 2h a day, 5 days a week ->  356h or 36 weeks.

 

 

Even if you are able to code a bot that plays for you 6h a day, you will have wait for 2 months - but most likely it will be spotted, or fail to keep up the xp/hour ratio in higher ranks.

 

All this work, all this time waited, ... would be lost within a week,

if tanki blocks the account forever on 3rd time mult-like action.

 

 

The only tough issue is to spot mults and punish them as efficient & convinient as possible.

But with a little creativity, this is no issue at all. You can also do something vs those "I pretend to have lost my connection" mults. You just have to set your priorities.. and ask the right people for ideas.

There are a lot of ideas in this forum already.

You can't just see a player with a K/D of under 1 and assume that he is "Obviously a mult".

 

 

By other accounts, I mean other accounts. People share accounts all the time. I've seen ex-friends using their friends accounts to help win a battle for the enemy side.
