999 min battles

What's the point of creating 999 min battles? That's more than 16 hours. Nobody can play that amount of time continuosly. If you quit you lose your battle fund. Unless you join 1-2 hours before the end of the battle you will get nothing besides XP.

i think that that's the point. if i had to join 999 min battles, they would be Dusseldorf Ctfs. people make them either for parkour, or to actually get a record-high battlefund.

Some people no-lifers play all day until the server restart.  Most of the time 999 battles are for parkour or something.

That reminds me of my battle on last wednesday that run for intense 2.5 hours on Polygon CP  I'm kind of new to the Pro format and underestimated the score goal (no time limit) a tiny tiny bit... and during the battle I regretted to join it. In the end the other team won with 650 : ~425 (probably mainly because the others had 2 Twins alt. and 2 Fire alt.). I had a premium pass by a mission that I activated when I joined and luckily it was still active at the end, which gave me decent reward :P Imagine that No-Lifer on Mafioso's screen with premium  :D

Imho the 999 min. battles should only be available in a Parkour battle tho.

By the way, the 2 min pee pause is quite a challenge

RIP, i once did a full 16 hr battle with some friends during a hackathon. (No we did not hack tanki) and we each got 100k. I would not reccomend it though because of the short pause time of only 2 minutes. I cant tell you how many times we had to play for someone else so they could get food or go to the bathroom.

I love them! A 999 Poly DM you can get thousands of points and crystals. And a ton of kills. It is who can endure the longest and stay to get the battle fund.

lol. And if you have really amazing friends in the battle get them to leave so you can get a M3 Kit

I've never played 999minute battles to the end, but I've played a couple of 999 kills or points. Getting that much points/kills takes a lot less time than 999min  Those battles are fun especially if your team wins(But when you loses, it sucks, a lot). But in DM you can't "lose" in that sense, thats why I prefer those. The feeling when you get your huge reward you've played for hours

Here's a few screens of my battles:

("Only" 800 kills )

I need noob graphis because my computer gets really laggy in long battles :c

I remember in the old days of TO, 999 minute games were not that uncommon. Of course, back then, you had a decent time to take care of Mother Nature and her causes, regardless of which end needed attention.
