Gold Box - Drop Zone Colour

I also don't understand what's wrong with the current color of Gold box drop zone. But, I think that the change of color for Gold box drop zone for @RIDDLER_8 is of essential importance.

I kinda agree with the idea. The gold box marker is indeed quite hard to see on light textures (sand and especially snow).

I have a very important solution here for the gold box drop zone colour on maps. Since I have played on Tanki Online for the last two years, I have witnessed so many players struggling to search for the gold box drop zone on any map, including small maps like Island, Ping-Pong and Arena.

 

For summer maps, the drop zone of the gold box must be a bright florescent shiny gold colour that shines at long ranges.

 

For winter maps, the drop zone for gold boxes must be coloured in bright florescent shiny lime green colour to make it visible, even at long range distances.

 

The main reason why players get to the gold box drop zone too late is because they struggle to see the drop zone icon.

 

Even using helicopter mode camera view, the gold box drop zone is difficult to properly spot on any summer or winter maps, even in night mode.

 

As you can see from the image I have added to this post, the gold box drop zone is hard to see. On whatever surface the gold box drop zone icon appears it is not easy to see and find.

 

That is why I am asking for it to be re-coloured for player to see properly.

 

This is an update that I am really looking forward to have in Tanki Online.

Please make sure that the developers of Tanki Online are aware of this problem because over all those years since Tanki online was developed, this problem was never fixed by releasing a new update on the gold box drop zone icon colour for maps.

 

Please release a new update to reflect the colours of the gold box drop icon zone on maps.

 

1. Summer maps - Gold box drop zone icon - bright florescent shiny gold colour.

 

2. Winter maps - bright florescent shiny lime green colour.

Gold boxes shall always remain gold but the drop zone of the gold box will change colour to reflect the contrast on the surface it drops on.

Well done. Yes. This is how the gold box drop zone icon should look like on summer and winter maps. On summer maps it must be a shiny gold colour and on winter map it should be a shiny green colour icon.

 

On night mode maps, both (summer and winter) the colour of the gold box drop zone icon must look exactly the same two colours like you create in your image above.

Well, during the May 2017 Celebrations, the gold box drop zone was red with a red star in the middle. That makes it a lot easier for players to spot the gold box drop zone at long distanced away, than yellow or gold.
