What happened?

I haven't played tanki since September, as school was starting and I was very busy. Now that winter break is approaching I had more time and I went onto the great, fun, game I remembered. The first thing I noticed was that I couldn't create battles - kind of funny, but whatever. So I click that big new button and the top and my dict feels different, namely it's a lot faster and it was surprisingly weak. So I go hunting around the forums, reading up on the past updates - and I am shocked. What are the devs thinking? Making it so that only people with PRO passes can make battles? Making the hp of all the medium hulls the same but keeping dict's slow speed? I just do not understand these updates. The damage counters are a nice touch, though. Also about that all m3's get the same unlock rank, good for me because I got thunder m3 before lol.

It's all due to the new Global update of the game which caused all Medium hulls (Hunter, Viking and Dictator) to have same health points but different characteristics like for you, your dictator has the height advantage and is specifically good for Gold Hunting IMHO. 

The battle creation thing is now only available to PRO pass users and Premium holders, as now those, who just play the game for the sake of fun can click on the BATTLE button and join any random match, where as those who want to have a great fight and make the most out of their time, can create battles according to their needs. In addition to that there are 3 Old maps that have been brought back from Tanki Online's history, namely 'Magadan', 'Deck-9' and 'Canyon'. The BATTLE button will never send you to one of these maps. In order to play in them, you need to own a PRO pass or have to be a Premium user.
