Had several battles with my alt. account 's Viking M2/Hammer M2 with Prodigi.

 

The Hammer is already OP and because there are no protective paints against it,

I would dare to say it is close to ridiculous at the moment.

 

Had amazing results with it but the combo didn 't give me much joy.

To be more clear almost no joy at all...strange in a way, because I really enjoy to play

with Viking/Thunder: only difference being the turret.

 

So I decided to switch to the Hornet: less HP, but a lot more speed.

Suddenly the Hammer turned from a dull uninspiring gun into a weapon of mass destruction.

Quickly delivered by a very common, according to some, uninspiring hull.

Engaging gameplay and pure fun!

The Hamer will ofcourse change after the IMO inevitable nerf, but it has plenty of power in reserve.

 

This battle in particular showed for me that the Hornet/Hammer combo can work.

If a combo works in the slaughter arena of a Polygon DM it works everywhere in my view.

 

To tell the whole story I really went heavy on supplies, especially DD 's and healthkits.

It was a DM so I believe I saw that the others used some supplies as well...

 

There was also another Hammer combo with Dictator M2/Hammer M3 but he made

the mistake to keep out in the open.

Worst thing you can do with a Hammer while reloading...
