Tanki Picture of the Day - Have any?

Has and have are both verbs used to describe ownership or possession. They have largely identical meanings, but there are somewhat complicated rules that govern their use.

Has is used to describe third-person singular nouns. For example, "the dog has a bone."

Have is used to describe some pronouns and plural nouns. For example, "I have a bone" or "The dogs have bones".

However, when you are using "doesn't" (contraction of does and not) or the word "does", there are different rules. "Does" is a modal verb, and modal verbs have different rules. These rules require the verb closest to the modal word to be in it’s basic or plural form. Hence the use of the word have rather than has in your sentence.

Oh, Thank you :)
