I'm proud of how I did especially since I didn't drug (I did use bonus boxes though) and there were a couple of M2 buyers in the battle. l3_O_T_I3 in particular was a huge drugger using the M2 Hammer+Hornet kit so the fact that I did better than them is pretty good IMO, even if my team did lose.

I know, but he had an M2 combo while I was using M1s. Plus I joined a bit late and my K/D was better.

 

K/D means more than a good score IMO. Anyone can get a high score just by using Firebird/Freeze and charging into the point holding spacebar until you die, even if your K/D is something like 0.82. I prefer to play support with my Viking+Thunder, weakening the enemies with splash damage so my teammates can clean up and take the point easily.

The entire battle was 666 minutes I believe, but I joined after less than half. Never thought I would find myself playing in a battle for 7 hours... and I probably won't ever do it again. I think I did awesome for being the only one without M4's. Definitely the longest and most excruciating battle I've played in my life. I blame Tanki for the loss, because we got robbed... had the server update came at the right time, we would have one by 1 point, and we were about to catch up before it actually came. I was playing with Kong, and he's #1 for experience earned in Rankings. Now I see why. I used Ricochet for almost the entire battle, then switched to Thunder towards the end, which I did better with. Most upsetting loss I've had in a while. About 21 golds fell, for the amount of time I was there, but I only caught one. D/L would have been higher had I did better in the beginning.
