A rather blatant example that just having a higher score doesn't win battles.

 

Boring Background:

 

So Blue team had dem long rangers, and were happily fragging Red from a distance (thankfully Blue had no Magnum squadrons to reduce Red to debris).  Unfortunately, although Blue had the easiest time killing tanks, they couldn't successfully escape Red's base with the flag.  If anything, Blue preferred camping around, with only 3-5 Blues daring and willing to steal Red's flag.  

 

Meanwhile, seeing as Blue's kept killing them at long range, Red remained concentrated in their base.  This proved useful, fortunately, for stopping the 3-5 Blue invaders at every turn.  Similar to Blue's offence, those Red players who played offence couldn't snag the flag.  Until someone dropped gold, and CastusSkim spearheaded Red's last flag drive...and let's say enough of Red collaborated to clinch the win.

Anyway, it seems like Jakemix made a live stream and asked his viewers to spam the chat. Over 1000 viewers.

UPDATE: Chat messages refuse to go through EU1, because the chat got stopped.

When 1,000 people are spamming +, and one guy says it once, and knows he's (not spamming, but) saying it in the midst of the spam, how do you expect the moderator to know he hasn't said it 100 times already? They have no time to check each person individually. It serves that person right, he knows the moderators don't know he hasn't spammed.
