^I was hoping to catch a meteor gold on pro battles too, but I realized it's easier to catch a normal gold, since you're like less likely to die that way. At least that's my experience.

+5GBs In 10m (almost all player dropped in normal battles). And I found a really easy way to take them that works!

 

Just stand way further back than everyone (you need a very light hull for this i was using hornet) and then when you see the asteroid about 2-3 seconds from hitting the ground start driving so that way you can get up to your maxim speed and you just drive right passed everyone else, 7golds dropped and I used that idea on all of them and got 5 :)

Because the faster you go the less whiplash from the explosion! I figured that out if your driving fast there’s no whiplash!!

And so far, my favorite catch. I like it because it's hard to catch Gold in an amazing way with this mechanic. Also, I like the other meteor falling in the background. Btw, as a result of this amazing catch, I was called... a hacker. It was a big surprise to see this in the chat. ^_^
