Reworking the new DM anti-mult system

Recently, the Devs have installed a new system for DM battles to avoid mults and powerlevellers. The system works by reducing the amount of EXP gained if a person with a low DL is killed. If this is the case, shouldn't we earn extra EXP for killing someone with a higher DL? In my opinion, it's only fair and the logical thing to do. Killing campers with high DL's is difficult and would add extra incentive to kill them, rather than to avoid them. I apologise if this idea has already been suggested.

1. I wouldn't want more xp, because I kill snipers all the time with Freeze.

 

2. It doesn't really make that much sense as the other system, because d/l isn't an indication of how a tanker is performing. A sniper could have 24 kills and 2 deaths and he's much less powerful than the twins with 100 kills 50 deaths.

Why not? I would want it to finish my DM missions quicker. I don't mind ranking early at all.

I completely agree. I think the whole system should never have been created in the first place but this is a sort of compromise.

At this rate, with so much negative feedback, this update is very likely to happen. :lol:

What does this have to do with buying lol? This is because I'm trying to do my DM missions but don't receive full EXP for some kills.

This is a place reserved for buyers.

Do you still have some doubts left in your mind ?? Tanki respects only buyers and if you are not among them then your voice will be suppressed but some dumb mods bby closing the topic

It would really be great if this is done.

Can't remember and don't have the link on me but occasionally, I find myself getting only about 7 EXP for killing people with lower DL's.

The idea is actually great.

Ikr. Desert DM XP/BP is pretty fun and it gets easier with experience but I'd rather be playing some Sand battles instead.

Power level is the thing when earn crystals for free in faster way.(Action taken for dm type only) ;)

Sabotage is the thing when your team-mate is standing in your team for enemy team.(No action taken yet.) :ph34r:

1. Not true. Powerlevelling can be using two alt's in the same battle to get EXP for one and crystals for the other. EXP powerlevelling is also when Vulcan keeps shooting and intentionally overheating, allowing an Isida to heal them. There's many more examples.

Yeah when was this thing about lower xp given for lower D/L of the player killed implemented? And how does it help? Or is it if I have a low D/L and kill someone, it gives me less xp? I'm thoroughly confused, and don't remember this update being mentioned. So much for transparency...

It is that if you kill someone who has a significantly low DL, you will get reduced points. I guess this is to reduce powerlevelling/multing in DM battles to some extent.

As if this would discourage cheaters to cheat... :rolleyes:

It wouldn't discourage them, it would just make it harder for them. But if they're smart, they'd just join and rejoin to get their DL back to 0.

Moreover, who cares about mults in DM? Alliances are more harmful than a low rank alt.

It's just that honest players are getting less xp from killing other players and they want to balance it out.

As I already said, cheaters cheat because it's their mentality. Whatever you tell them or difficulty you create, they'll never stop unless you prevent them from cheating with a serious crackdown. I agree. I'm not justifying their choice, in fact, I'm arguing against its use.

LOL, yesterday I was play 1 vs 1 polygon CP and noticed that in CP mode I wasn't gaining 10 exp on destroying that tank. :ph34r:

This lowkey update is lowkey annoying lol.

This system introduced by Tanki gives less crystals (for all players in the battle) as when less points are scored, less crystals are added to the fund. And it makes the completion of DM mission harder, meaning aprox +10%..+20% more time needed.

 

It makes powerleveling a bit harder (more time, as stated) but if you want to powerlevel you should anyways find some friends and do it in teambattles, as you can score there a share of 15 points per dead tank - this moves faster.

 

a change like proposed in this idea would be fair.
