so, a map where you automatically spawn in while waiting for battle? I really only see one problem, the time it generally takes to connect to a map would still hold for this map, so you would only get a few seconds before loading and connecting into the actual battle.

Yeah but each map should only contain like 40 players tops. You don't even have to play in there and just one massive sandbox would do. But the tanks dropping from buses is da best.

well my concern it would take so long to connect to the waiting room you would only spend a few seconds in the room before you have to load into the battle.

Before a matchmaking battle starts, and that's basically what this random area is. Instead of waiting like for certain time, people can have fun in that area and so on. Many games have it.

Would rather have a lobby like tanki-X.  gather players for battle, show map, allow limited time garage access...

Hello,

Lobby Hub is just a Giant map where All rank players can hangout. It's like a battle map but they cannot kill each other (If can shoot but victim won't lose heath). I think if a new player will join a lobby hub and look at highest rank players and what weapon they are using or when they will shoot (e.g. uing firebird) he will see how cool it looks & he will be able to chat and get tips from higher players and talk to them. In the giant map they can try parkour, have fun etc. If they want real battle they can just go to real battle by leaving Hub and going to lobby then selecting battle or maybe there will be garage with sigh in it. If you go in the garage it search and send you to the battle (e.g. A garage of house with CTF sign on it if I go in the garage it shows in chat searching for CTF and then sends me directly to CTF.

It is a lot of work for programmers + server issues with Tanki right now, I just thought it can attractive a lot of players and new players might get motivated by hanging out with OP high rank friendly players. It just seems good idea in my mind + A lot of Massive multiplayer games nowadays have hub thing and If Tanki have it then it will look more updated with current time.
