I can not play Tanki with my sons. I want to create my own map.

I enjoy playing Tanki with my sons. We have been playing together for over a year. We can no longer play together because we cannot create a map that fits our different ranks. My sons cannot seem to save enough crystals to afford the pro pass. I am afraid that we are going to loose interest in playing Tanki because of this.

I know your situation, and I'm sorry about that. It is truly enjoyable playing Tanki with friends or relatives. :)

However, the solution is in red. I think it would be good if you explained the value of "saving" to them, (and its a good life-skill as well.) :)

I agree 100%. When it comes to real life they are pretty good at saving money. But with Tanki they do not have enough interest to complete daily missions. Nor the skills to earn crystals with good game play. They have other games they prefer to play (Minecraft is not my thing.) Unfortunately Tanki is one game we can play together. At least untill now!

I understand the intent of the folks that run Tanki is to earn more money with people buying crystals. I have purchased them myself. But I know that we will loose interest in the game because of this. Therefore they will loose income from me in the end.

Yes, I agree.  Maybe the best option would be to create another account to play with them? - as you seem to be more serious about Tanki than them.  Depending on their rank (i don't know) you could blast through the lowest ranks pretty fast.  So if a battle is *their rank and up*, you could use this account, and if it's *their rank and down*, you could use that account....

yea lots of players have complained about it and no one likes what they have done... if you can work towards getting a pro pass with crystals then you can enjoy the game again till then were all in the same boat...

Dear Sir,

don't regret abt not be able to find fun in TO anymore.

It is rapidly fading away and the game-play gets noobish by the day !

In case your country enjoys a mol mild climate, I would strongly recommend you to focus on outdoors entertainment - biking, hiking, trailing, off-roading, camping, even fishing/hunting ... there're plenty of group activities in the real world that will surely provide more quality time than plunging into some virtual habitat !

with my all my due respect !

I have three accounts. A low rank for son #1 and middle rank for son #2. Son #2 likes to play parkor with me. He gets mad when spawns and dies immediately and will not play. Son #1 gets frustrated because his skills are not so good and the available battles always seem to have higher rank tankers playing with better equipment.

Exellant advice! Sorry, it is minus 2 degrees Fahrenheit in Wisconsin, USA. I have and will take them sledding this winter. We have snowshoes but not enough snow for that yet. The ski hills are too expensive! I have them in scouts, wrestling and taekwondo also.

Tanki is a safe interactive game for us. I do not let them play online games other than Tanki because I do not trust what I do not know.

I use Tanki as a babysitter for an hour or two once or twice a week (I really dig it after the kids go to bed).

Unfortunately the game takes years to complete (at least to reach Legend), and experienced players (with better equipment) cannot play with lower ranks for obvious reason.

So either you play slower and let them catch up with you, or they play more.

Alternative solution is to start a new alt, so you will be behind them, then progress this alt to a rank in middle of your sons' and then play with this one only when you play with them to stay at their level. Otherwise you let them play with your alt, at least during parkour.

You can also help them by using their account and get them more xp as obviously you have more time to play than them.

I'm still able to play with both my sons and being in front of them (higher rank) keep the competition on and motivate them to play more.

Well, he said his sons get frustrated because they are facing opponents with higher levels of skill... If he leveled them up a bunch, they would be facing even better and more advanced opponents while they still have the same skill level, giving them more frustration....I don't think that's the best way to go...

My sons get frustrated too, mostly it is due to the fact of loosing. Also they blame multing, noobs in is team, lag ... and the excuse of the difference of level of skills of the other opponent.

Learning to loose is part of the game, they have to learn it and let go the anger. Then they can start to find the right strategy, this will come with experience and guidance.
