Railgun M2 damage needs to be buffed and Tweak Firebird

You don't even remember the name of your kit :P, it's Voltage..

Well devolopers re-changed the Railgun to have better statistics in things like reload while needing to decrease the damage, which made totally new turret of old known Railgun. They knew that players may not want this, so they released so called "Alterations" and one of them is which can make it changed to similar old one Railgun.

About your hulls and afterburns.. Look, low rank hulls are weak, you may want to look for a better one with a rank. Don't go for your favorite if it's weak on specific modification, when you reach M3 hulls, all is on your will and imagination.  :)

I plan on getting viking hammer :3 I have my eyes set on Bubmlebee and Rockshaper. I could get Legend and Jackhammer for the same turrets and hulls, but for those two it's almost 200,000 more than getting Rockshaper and Bubmlebee. In the end I Hornet M3, Viking M3, Hammer M3 and Railgun M3.

It's not true

2 shots are needed

  • from M3 rail to kill M3 Wasp/Hornet
  • from M3 rail to kill M2 Wasp/Hornet
  • from M2 rail to kill M2 Wasp/Hornet

3 shots are needed

  • from M2 rail to kill M3 Wasp/Hornet

That is when average damage is dealt. If you are very unlucky to deal minimum damage consistently then you will need more shots to kill a tank. Similarly, if you are very lucky to do maximum damage consistently then you less shots to kill a tank. Edited by sorenson_2015

Right, this is average damage. But you need to consider average damage, because the shell stabilization alteration is always activated in XP/BP, so you always deal average damage (well with up to 1% variation around it, but that has no effect).

Please don't nerf Firebird. Before the rebalance, I could go into the enemy, kill 3/4 of them and seriously injure the rest, including Mammoth. But now, if I try that with my M2 with over half MU's (on another acc) they just laugh at me, some just ignore me. It takes a load and a half to kill a Mammoth, plus the afterburn, which is next to nothing.

The afterburn used to last a long time with a lot of damage. Not so anymore. I've chased after the enemy flag bearer all the way to his base and constantly throwing napalm all over that tank. I felt like I was throwing water on him, even though I could see the damage I was doing.

I've seen afterburns go from 40 to 20 to 1 in less than 5 seconds. What's with that? Any tank with full health can survive that. I've thrown full loads on Wasps with little effect. I've seen Freeze with more effect than Firebird, without supplies.

Please don't nerf Firebird any more. I like my M2 Wasp/M2 Firebird combo. I'd like it even better if the damage and afterburn was put back where it was.

Yeah, i know. Keep dreaming, Torva.

If you have an M1 Rail and decide to buy the M2 you're actually paying a lot more for almost the same thing, and M2 Rail is not cheap like Freeze or Isida to be this weak.

There is another issue, there are only two long range turrets to choose from and if Rail is not a good choice your other option is Shaft. Shaft is not for everyone.

You could also take striker or decide to buy the artillery turret in future  ^_^

Ricochet needs a buff.

Well, it wouldn't hurt, but no matter what your weapon of choice is, nearly everyone would like to have their weapon buffed a little. I have Rico M2 and sometimes I feel as though I'm bouncing ping-pong balls. It takes a certain amount of skill to bounce shots (and adjusting your camera doesn't hurt, either). But there are a lot of ways to outwit a Rico.

If anything, I'd like to see more than 10 shots in a full load. There have been times I've used up my 10 shots on one tank and he's still coming at me. Then I can either try to hide while I reload (which is usually a failure) or I can try to shoot a few cool down shots at him in hopes that my one more shot will kill him before his one shot kills me.

Everyone likes a buff, but no one likes a nerf. Sure, some weapons could be buffed a little more or nerfed a bit, but I'm still on the fence when it comes to Rico.

What would you say if they make Rico an unlimited range weapon, but they weaken the damages a bit and after each bounce it losses 20% of damage, meaning the balls dispear after 5 bounces?
