Results of Gold Digging? Satisfying or not?

 

 

General Gold Dropping:

 

Have you ever thought of the results of waiting and pausing your game in the chat of any server just for Gold Boxes? Think of the results before you do that. You might think of equipping Wasp and doing some nice tricks with Hammer or Thunder, but didn't you think of all the Mammoths with Vulcans, the Dictators with Railguns (DRs)? You probably haven't thought of all those. You might have ranked up or gained over 1,000 experience points in the time you have waited for a dropper to come or even make a map. You might have played a game in this time and got to see a dropper in a game that was fair, for example, the Xp/Bp mode. Don't you think it would be easier for you to catch a GoldBox there? Someone might just tell "I got a Dictator though!". You still have a low chance, never underestimate other dictators, titans, and even mammoths! They might be able to kill you faster and drug really hard with their modules.

 

 

Save The Golds:

What about STGs? Wasting over 30 minutes and ruining your Kills/Deaths ratio for a 1000 crystals box? You might have played a game and got over that amount and maybe a GoldBox too. Someone would probably steal it too. Another might get mad and post the link in RU1 and then get the STG totally ruined. The dropper would have lost a GoldBox worth 1$ and you would have your time wasted.

 

Race for Golds:

 

No, never do this! Someone will probably join and hide with his thunder + wasp blasting off all these mammoths from a high distance while they cant do anything because of the high rank. He/She would also get the GoldBox easily. Even if it was with wasps, that would be worse if someone joins with thunder. All these weak wasps getting one shotted by a thunder! You would waste your time right there and the gold dropper would have one dollar or even more wasted as well.

 

There are bad effects of wasting your time on gold digging. It's not satisfying at all because it's just you being lifeless for a couple of hours just for GoldBoxes with no use.

 

GodMode_On GoldBox Drops:

 

Uh, this mode, it's very annoying! You go and try to kill someone with a very high protection, probably having mammoth and thunder as well. Get to kill him and get 3 GoldBoxes dropped. Think about it though, all these people trying to kill with overpowered equipment! They would probably kill him, but...they could kill you easily when the GoldBoxes drop if they we were able to kill such a humungous combination with all the protection! Think before you get to such a risk and waste of time. You might have a bad experience in that mode. Trying to kill that huge tank for around 15 to 20 minutes and then getting nothing. It does seem bad actually.

Trollers:

 

Many people troll for kills and experience points by saying they are going to drop around 30 GoldBoxes when they reach a certain amount of kills. That is also called power leveling. I really disagree with those people who just waste their team doing that and ruining your K/D for giving them kills and at the end the result will be "Trolled, hahaa!!!"

I'd say that you are looking at this subject through a very narrow viewpoint: gaining crystals. The whole point of mini-games like STG is that they are done in private battles so that mults don't join, and they are done for entertainment. Not for crystals.

I was only stating my opinion. About the STG, I know about that, but I've seen many ruined and messed up STGs in my tanki career.

I drop for fun, especially when I cap. But I will only play CTF on large maps with a large number of players to make it fair. And for those who know me - "Lucky 7" is always in effect.  :ph34r:

I don't play this much, but I will supply a gold if needed. I like to be on the attacking side, though.

 

Race for Golds:

By invite only and by friends I know. And then afterwards I will drop for those who did not get one. Also, after the event, I will drop 3 or 4 then say "fight for it" - gives them a chance to let off some steam.

This is NOT nice and I never offer or do this. There is no need to be a jerk when you have the ability to drop. I'd rather go to a random battle and drop at random rather than do this. And besides, I don't chase golds - I drop them. Not like rain, but like avalanche.
