Disable turret impact on teammates (unless flipped)

Hello people.

 

Basically, the idea here is that an opponent's turret would have no punch on you whatsoever unless you are on your side or flipped (or in a position where you otherwise cannot move). It feels like it'd be a relatively small fix to the game, and it would make a huge difference when playing on maps such as Monte Carlo or Gravity (even things like Island or Rio) where something equipped with a Rico or a Hammer can push around an entire team, knocking their members of the edge, and losing them the game. This would also help when someone on your team uses the same guns to knock your aim off (this is mostly for Shafts and Railguns). Obviously, a downside to this could be that you couldn't use your gun to help an ally tank over an obstacle as a shortcut. However, I would argue that this is a case where the pros very much outweigh the cons.

Not super lifelike. Then again, there's alot of stuff in Tanki that's not super lifelike.

 

Could also say that it lacks continuity, but you damage enemies and don't damage teammates.

I don't like this idea, if someone made a mistake and flipped a team mate, it's not such a big deal - you made a rare mistake and your team will have to pay for it... It doesn't happen a lot, and being able to push team mates with your shot can be helpful in some situations, like to speed a team mate up when he jumps from a ramp so he can make it to the other side, or to shoot a team mate in the air and prevent him from flipping when he drops, or when a team mate with no recoil turret or too heavy hull is flipped sideways you can shoot him to flip him back... All this will be gone to save players from well deserved flipping?

 

If you add a detection of flipped players, it'll be very confusing and players who don't know much about this feature might not even try to save team mates because they are used to not being able to push them anyway... And it's gonna be pretty much impossible to detect if a player is shooting his team mate in the air accidentally or tries to shoot him in the air on purpose to prevent him from flipping.

Only as an option for Standard battles..good idea! :)

I was playing in Rio the other day and I was carrying the enemy's flag and this Hornet/Hammer from my team was trying to flip me over. I guess he wanted the flag and saw my Wasp/Rail an easy target.

 

I also saw teammates flipping other teammates so they can get to the flag.

 

And, as mentioned, impact is useful to help teammates in their jumps or when they are flipped on their sides.

 

I think it shouldn't be disabled.

 

But I think all impact force should be matched to the recoil force for the maximum damage range, and half for the minimum damage range. Excepting Striker, because their missiles accelerate themselves after being launched. I want to see Wasps with their OP Hammers flipping themselves if they are not careful.

If this idea implemented, I will basically leave the game. After all of the entertainment have disqualified by developers, they will try to remove such even a small things in the battle and make your gameplay all in just the enemies' base. This idea will remove the fun even from the smallest things in the game.

Though I have hurt from the noobs' shots while they always failing to hit the enemies but their shots are on me and ruining my aim really hard. But I disagree with your idea

By the way nowadays (though approximately no one in the topic play the game anymore ) Heavy Weight is a really effective in this case, and even make you able to push your teammates who mindlessly restricting you from running from Wasp's bomb.

But about your idea, what do you see isn't it better to even make the players moving across their teammates like a ghost feature? like many games have this character, as no need of touches between teammates !

Tbh I don’t mind it, maybe they could use it as an option to be enabled only in a certain format or something like that.
