I don't use mouse controls. I just use the zxc keys for turret rotation, and it works very well for me.

I am gona try it , got a new mouse to eat so , gota try how the Rat control   hold up

I would say that mammy is a good hull for striker. The stability, the health, and the placement of the turret on the hull.

Low height and the placement makes it better than Titan to use with Stirker

Not if you want to kill the Wasp/Rails who want to circle-strafe you. Titan is much more nimble than Mammoth.

Well you are a striker and why do you allow those Mosquito's to get close ?

Heavy hulls are better to use for this turret than any other hulls, the health and the stability.

But Light's are the suicide combo's

i like em light cause you can land a shot and run and then go to another place and land another shot and then grab the kill

But with heavy you will be just sitting there and trying to land shot's correctly , and one miss you give away your positon and is target for everyone

On my first account I could land salvos without much trouble reconsidering I'm using mammoth.

Well i am using Hornet cause i don't like to be a Big elephant who has a Rocket launcher  :lol:

In my opinion, the RK nerf was indirectly a buff to Striker (as well as a lot of other weapons). Before that it was useless at higher ranks - everybody just used a repair kit and went away undamaged. Now, I would say that it just needs shorter lock-on at higher modifications. M1 is meant to be as strong as railgun, so it definitely needs better lock-on at M1 and higher. M4 is useless against other M4s - I tried it on Test Server.

"everywhere"?  How about "hardly at all"...

 

Shaft has an alternate fire-mode and there's no issue using it. It happens to be almost as good as smoky's regular shots.  Go figure...

Yes that is the exact thing , but i didn't want to make it too weak 

 

Well it is striker a missile launcher , it is not a sniper rifle or a Ak-47 , what do you expect from missile launcher's ?

Salvos are good when you get behind a tank.  Sometimes you see a tank and there's no cover for it w/in the time it'll have to escape. I actually use it at medium and short ranges more than long ranges.  

 

If my titan can take two of your hits .... you SURE you want to keep fighting while this laser is shining on you?  Or do you break for cover NOW? It's now or splatter. If I am using my Hornet, it is easy to follow them around corners as they try to find coer.  I have even used the laser in circle strafing / close dancing situations. Striker modules for the self-splash!

 

Likewise the laser is good when you see a freeze or fire. They can't both duck for cover and close the range.

 

The other day I found a new use for the laser.  Team mates were brawling with enemies over yonder.  I lit up an enemy with my laser and he broke off my team mate. I didn't shoot but my team mate took advantage of the opportunity.

 

Just some ideas to mull around for Striker likers.

When you try to lead your targets but the auto aim mechanism decides the dead concrete suddenly is the worst enemy;

When rockets randomly reach for the skies even though the aim was spót ón;

I like to play with my striker on RGB Stadium , and many salvos are used , just as much as single rockets .

It all depends on the maps , striker needs open maps to shine , the more open the better it is and the less you can use salvos .

Eat this missile, you end up there, I'll go here, you'll eat the 2nd missile and...." ...and your first, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th shots all go sailing over those damn low hulls. You end up being lunch after all.

Yes Desert is my fav map for striker

Oh , yes

ALso drive back and shoot at these times so even if you dont hit them you will splash em

The main issue with the auto-aim system of not-instant-hit turrets is that it treats it like an instant-hit turret even though it isn't. So you only get the system working from aiming at where they currently are, and not when you're actually leading them, which is kind of annoying. 

 

Im wondering if this kind of thing might actually be an intentional nerf to these types of weapons though. There's this other game I know where they actually have a few weapons with deliberately screwed up targeting systems as a balancing mechanism.

Isn't Striker in most cases better than Thunder now? I mean, it doesn't have dropoff like Thunder does, and it also has an anti-heavy ability, which Thunder doesn't

Yes but with thunder if you have good aim all are hit's but with Striker even if you have good aim do not expect to hit all the shots

And that is the reason why we see more thunder's
