I'm a non-buyer :P Got lucky from one of those Ultras, EMP Gauss has been out for a long time so quite a lot of non-buyers have it by now (and yes it needs a nerf).

Saying Gauss EMP is on a team 50% time in Siege battles... that's quite disproportionate - which indicates buying behavior.

There's no way luck on containers will account for that.

And you having it and equipping it kinda skews the results right?  It's 100% of the time when you equip it.  Or do I have my maths wrong?

I'm sure a lot of the people that have it are buyers, but for sure when I'm trying to get special missions done in Siege, I'd be confident there is an EMP Gauss in the game in 50% of battles. Alright then, perhaps 25% of the time in your team - 50% to be in the match but 25% to be in your team, perhaps. I saw a game recently however with 3 EMP Gauss in my team (including me) and 3 in the enemy team also in an 8v8. There are definitely a huge number of them about these days in Siege.

I actually mainly play Isida in Siege, however I would use EMP Gauss if I had a kills or deal damage in Siege mission since it is by far the most effective augment/turret combo I own for that purpose - other than Rail with Hyperspace Rounds in some cases. I would like to use Magnum AP (from the battle pass), but sadly I have the Magnum no-damage bug very often so I literally can't use magnum right now. So no, I'm not including myself in those stats :P . When I'm using Isida, that would be what I notice - Emp Gauss in 50% of Siege games at Legend.

Well the ODs and augments have ruined many of the battle-modes.  One reason I won't play Siege or Assault mode much.

And recently finished a CTF battle on Skylark.  Was excited to play there as it's been quite rare for me though I like the map.  Placed in there after battle was 1-0 for my side.  We had 2 or 3 Hoppers and the battle finished so fast I only scored 60 pts.  Not even enough for 1 star.

Game is going down-hill fast.

I agree, Skylark is a pretty good map. And yes, all the status effect augments are ruining the game - too late now sadly. I have given up on all thoughts of balance and just use whatever works to get my missions done ASAP (especially when I'm using an Mk2 hull to get "kill x tanks with a category y hull" missions done, lol).

I got it wrong, as it was CTF. Still a very high population of them found in Siege though.

6.  Never seen that many in one battle.  That's just ugly.   I would quit that makeup early and often.

I used to hate EMP Gauss, have to say it's great to have one now however to "counter" the enemy EMP Gauss, EMP vs EMP is actually pretty fun (as long as you have enough supplies). It is definitely very OP, although thankfully if you have EMP Immunity you are good to go against them - or even if in Siege you have enough Titans along with at least one decent Nanobots Isida (I know as I usually play Isida/Dictator and I have no EMP Immunity).

I thought once the bar goes down to zero Vulcan damage takes a big hit. So what's the point of HI without IB?

Or has that been reverted?

That change to Vulcan was reverted a very long time ago, otherwise Incendiary Brand would still suck as it did then. Adrenaline is the highest damage Vulcan augment to use against targets with Heat Immunity (which is very common at Legend these days, obviously) while retaining the stock Vulcan bullet speed, so as I understand many Vulcan users prefer it to Incendiary Brand for Legend battles. Incendiary Brand is still pretty brutal though against those who don't have Heat Immunity, as we know.

I only joined that particular match when it was already 3-0, but my allies who didn't seem to have Heat Immunity were rendered truly useless, as you might Imagine - they ended up cowering behind a wall in our base, too afraid to leave lol.

IB would not suck - it relies on the burning to do the extra damage.

Hmmm... I have HI & IB & vulcan & Adrenaline on same account.  Might have to try that out and see how it does.

There was a nerf to Vulcan before where Vulcan only dealt 30% of its standard damage when overheating, so during that time Incendiary Brand did for sure suck as it had a further damage penalty in addition to that, and the small amount of burning damage wasn't enough to make up for it - especially when you were also taking self-damage.

However Vulcan was then changed in the most recent Vulcan buff to no longer have a damage penalty when overheating, and then after that Heat Immunity hull augment was released - and we then had the situation we have today with Vulcans which fire infinitely.

Vulcan + Heat Immunity is very strong especially with those augments - I really wish Heat Immunity was never released however as I find it so dull, compared to Vulcan gameplay without. Powerful, but dull to play when you no longer even have to think about timing your barrel charge-up, or cooling down.

JUst did a TJUG battle with my dictator+vulcan+HI+Adrenaline.  Entered late and got 3rd.  seemed to do well.  Might not have moved up to top-3 without the boost scoring, but I did enter battle late.

I think you will see more as players realize it's potent now.

Plus, I would not be surprised if a lot of players did not have upgraded modules for that.  They need to buy or MU them.

I also barely see anyone use Striker too lol.

Only like 1 or 2 every other match. 

And this is at legend rank too. Almost every legend profile I visited has a Striker Mk7 in it....

Grats :) Yes it is a solid combo, have got it on an alt account and it does shred. The nice thing about Adrenaline is that you can also use it with other augments if you need to put on EMP Immunity or AP Immunity for instance, not so with IB.

Abuse while you can xD. Grats on being OP for now. Even Orka won't help against the criticals, if you use Dictator or Hornet you'll be getting plenty of those.

I knew buying Striker back in 2020 would finally pay off. It was the only turret I ever spend crystals to speed up Micro Upgrades on.

I'd give it a 7 or 8.  Need more use to give a better evaluation.

My go-to turret with dictator is Vulcan.

I actually prefer the Ultra version of Striker - at least in the two versions pictured above.  M1 version looks ... bloated.

I love Striker more now!

  • Its reload is less, which allows faster attacking.
  • I also love how its Critical does x2 damage.

I would love for Thunder to do x2 damage.

  • Then regular Thunder would do 880
  • with Double Damage, it would do 1760
  • with Critical, it would do 3520
  • if we have a Max Drone equipped, it would do 3696 (+5%) or 3872 (+10% with Brutus)

for one Shot!

Add fully boosted Adrenaline with Brutus, that's approx. 5,149 damage per hit.
