Never mind, in case you are talking of the arcade mode, you can forget this 4 missile thing and every rocket needs a reload of 1.8 and is shot individually. The time between a shot in arcade mode is a reload and between the shots of the rockets in salvo mode is a "pause".

Correct - was talking about Arcade.

 

Interesting... 4 tubes but only one missile available. Odd.  And it takes 1.8 seconds for a new missile to be loaded.

 

Funny - in combat as the recipient of the "delivery" seems faster than 1.8 seconds. In any event my smoky Viking doesn't last long enough when the missiles are close enough to not miss. Even with self-damage to the striker-Titan it comes out the victor.

Yes every missile is an individual thing in arcade mode, the only thing to consider about the barrels is then on which side the missile is launching.

 

It seems that because of dealing a big damage that the reload is felt to be shorter. Striker seems to have an above average killing rate (like shaft), but because it is in general rather far away from the direct combat and the flags, it is underperforming with getting experience points compared to other turrets.

When I saw the first videos of the Striker, I did not realise, that the reload in arcade mode is so slow.. I thought too, that it can fire 4 missiles in a sequence with a reload time of 0,25sec between the missilies.

Therefore I thought the turret is so much overpowered.. which it would be if you could charge 4 missilies in fast sequence without aiming laser.

 

If your target is a sitting duck (poly CP heavy hulls; or poly CP mediums at the point) you can just fire one missile after the other and deal heaps of damage (also thanks to splash of course). But a clever opponent will start to hunt your strikers in 1-1s, where they loose, and so the rest of the team can cap the point then.

It's all about teamwork and map, with such turrets that are dedicated to a special task. Firebirds rule Poly CP today, but they are cheap pray on Parma.

Ok lets talk about this turret "Striker". First the things that should be changed.Lock on time should be shortened, while damage slightly decreased.  Now what should be kept. Turret movement is fine. Now what I think should be an alteration for this turret. If you hold the spacebar and then let go, normally it wouldn't shoot but with this alteration it will. Holding the spacebar for (example) 4 seconds will fire (example) 3 missiles, sounds cool?

Just saying, the Striker M3 looks sooo cool. It looks like an alien(that was supposed to be a nice compliment)

 

but really it is pretty cool

 

and the Striker in general...It is an awesome weapon for huge maps and is probably best used to defend the team base

 

And the thing when u hold the spacebar...that is just so massive and does a lot of damage!!! :o :rolleyes: B) :ph34r: :) :lol: ;) :P

I like it. It is a pretty good gun, except for close range.

    7/10 stars.

Even at close range - if it's using protective module (which it should) it is still effective. Usually survives the salvo, but opponent does not.

So ill admit that i love the new gun striker but i wanted to know some tips on how to use it what maps are good for it and what hull should i use with it and as a bonus why its more expensive then every other m0 turret.

 

heres what i think ive concluded though

-striker is good for OPEN maps with little walls

-striker is good with either titan or hornet

-striker is 9/10 :D

-price i have no idea
