Campers

None of them capture flags but one kind dares to face enemies and does the hard job while the other hides peacefully behind walls of the barn.

Its good to see some moderation in your example, nevertheless I would have used less subtle word:

None of them capture flags but one kind (fearless and handsome, with the justice in his hand and the heart of a lion), dares to face fearsome and strong enemies and does the bloody hard job (sacrificing himself while bringing hell) while the other (coward, sly, ugly, and lazy tanker) hides peacefully, behind the safe heaven walls of the barn with a café laté (no sugar).

In other word : you just summarise this complex topic to a mainstream cliché of a brave vs a coward.

When both are bad: None of them capture flags = wrong tactics.

A foolish, blind attacker is no use either.

When both are good: only one of them capture flags, the one that easily take and carry flags only facing diminished enemies (or dead enemies) while the other one is doing the hard job trying to stay alive while surrounded by enemies he help giving is life hidden behind the barn in enemy territory.

History will remember the one that survived and brought the flag home, while the unknown hero, and long forgotten, is still missing in action (snif).

You can praise campers as much as you please but anyway they're not the ones who face enemies so they shouldn't brag proudly and make videos on YouTube to show off with irrelevant positive ratios. Anyone can hide behind a wall and go back and forth whenever an enemy comes by

We are not exalting campers to a premium position and painting them as the "masters". All we are saying is that good campers can be very helpful to a team and bad attackers can be total wastes of player slots. It's common sense.

Anyway, I'm out of this topic, Excellent, excellent. :D no point discussing with people who find excuses not to say they simply don't have enough guts to support attackers :P Here we go again. "Guts to support attackers?"  I've already proven you wrong about camping:

Ok.. Wait, wait. Do you guys actually believe there are good campers? Campers have absolutely no skill, and I do believe some of them are druggers.

That "no skill" part is simply not true at all. Often they have much more skill than attackers. Enough said.

As for the drugging, of course some campers drug. Some attackers drug heavily. It crosses class-lines. That doesn't mean that camping is inherently bad for the team.

Yeah, no.. If you think camping is skilful... I give up, lets all become buyers and camp our heads off with M4 upgrades, while we're at it lets also turn Tanki into a drug war (Sarcastic voice).

Camping has no relation to M4s, drugging, and buying. -_-

Define "camping".

I like CTF (only play more CP). My hull is slow. I can't capture flags in bigger maps. What should I do?

1. Sitting at home, plant mines and kill everyone who tries to steal our flag.

2. Go to midfield, support our attackers and kill enemies.

3. Sneak into enemy camp and kill as many opponents as I can.

I think all three tactic works in the right situations. Neither of them is "useless". The first one might be less rewarding (less kills & XP) but can be just as useful (if not more) as the others.

Actually we are talking more about "sniping"- in terms of Shafts and Railguns.

I think Option 2 is what good Shafts and Railguns always do- and yes, it does help the team. :)

Ask yourself the question: What would Shuck Norris do in this case?

Then do what he would do.
